not worth the $. i got my friend the signature pedicure for her bday. the staff was unfriendly, the pedicure was great, BUT rushed so she didn't get the full effect of the soak and mask. it was completely over priced for the service and treatment that we recieved.

ordinary, impolite service for a high price. service was very rushed, the nail technician looked like she had a train to catch. there were no smiles at the door, they behaved as if they were doing me and my sis-in-law a big favor. also no one even asked us after the pedicures whether we liked it. we were pretty much left on our own after the pedicure and the girls darted looks at us while we dried our nails as to when we would pay up and leave...just very impolite for a $70 order i would think.

Avoid it! Staff has attitude & doesn't speak English!. Even if a customer communicates wishes clearly and friendly, the nail bar in Evanston doesn't care. Beside the fact that the woman who started on my feet hardly spoke any English, she got really upset when I told her that I didn't like the "French" that she had done. After I made her take it off at least the big toes she didn't say a word anymore and got all fast and sloppy on my hands.

They started mopping the floor while I was still there and instead of getting me my coat from the wardrobe they made me walk over there in these disposable flip flops and I nearly fell....

My boyfriend got me this gift certificate from nail bar as a special treat and I was really looking forward to it. The first weekend they couldn't take me in (were they really booked solid?) this weekend they finally could - calling a week and half in advance!

Very unpleasant experience overall - I just hope my nail beds are not all infected tomorrow.

ADDITION: The pedicure from SUNDAY looks like 2 weeks old on THURSDAY already....

Always a treat!. I've been having my nails done here for several years, and have recoomended it to my mother and several of my friends, all of wom have enjoyed their expereinces here. They are very flexible about scheduling, and always do their best to fit people in, even at the last minute. They run on time, too, which is always a plus. The staf is very friendly, and there is no "attitude" in their demeanor. It's easy to get here via public transit. There's also plenty of on-street metered parking. I would highly recommend this little spot , and have never been at all dissapointed in the services I have received here.
