Best Big Bowl and Peanut Delight.
Their food is an Asian fusion, serving the traditional Chinese fare, but also great Thai, Vietnamese, Szechwan, and Asian curry dishes.
I love the big bowl soups. I've been searching everywhere for a good big bowl soup place since we left California, and this is great! I order the "combination noodle soup." It has noodles, fish meatballs, beef meatballs, shrimp meatballs, and vegetables. (No meatball jokes, ok?) I like to ask for rice stick noodles in the soup and Hoisin sauce (pronounced Hoy-seen) on the side, and then I put some Hoisin sauce in the broth, just like we did in California.
My husband really likes a dish called the "nutty delight." (alright, here you go with the nut jokes) It's not on the menu but it's good. He substitutes broccoli for the zucchini. It has tons of different kinds of nuts, like carmelized walnuts, peanuts, cashews, slivered almonds, and tons of vegetables (including water chestnuts, my husband's favorite). It comes with chicken and shrimp.
Bottom line, they've got cojones! I couldn't resist, after seeing what I just wrote. Their crab rangoon is also to die for.
They're very flexible with substitutions, as you can see by our specific weird preferences, and they're food is always top notch. They have a specific "Vegetable" section, though I'm not sure if the Vegetable section is vegetarian (have to ask if they use fish sauce or anything) It's never too busy, but after this review that might change. I'll take my chances.
