Completely Disappointed
by soundslikebs
Listen, all of you who think this is such a great school; you're wrong. I can understand if you're just trying to stay positive though. BUT, ALL the machines are broken in some way. The sprayer doesn't work, or the woods lamp doesn't work. The Galvanic and High Frequency machines rarely work. The Microdermabrasion machines don't work! And how the hell are we supposed to learn any of this and/or how to preform these services without actually ever doing it, since everything is broken?!?!? A large majority of the students are very disappointed as well. There are not enough instructors, MAKEUP THERE IS A JOKE! BECAUSE IT'S SO MINIMAL AND UNIMPORTANT!! The cost of the school is outrageous compared to some of the other schools in the area! AND these other schools teach you more thoroughly and with more advanced technology, as in machines that don't break down all the time. I'm upset that i didn't look a little further into choosing a school. I will try my hardest to make the best of this, but when all the rules are changing all the time it's hard to keep up with everything! Sometimes, i feel like they could've just given me the damn books and I could've taught myself. And they only teach you what's in the books, they DO NOT go any further for you. NOR do they even follow the esthetic sanitation guidelines they are teaching from the books! The cleanliness is poor, it's absolutely over-crowded, The staff is a joke. Nobody knows what they are doing. The only instructor I liked was Cassandra. She kept it interesting and fun. If it wasn't for her, I don't know if I'd still be there. OH! & now they want to charge us for using the products we need in order to do services for practice!! They also want us to have to pay to have our practicals signed off! THIS SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE TUITION!! I'm disappointed, that's all I have to say about that.
- Pros: The school is making their money!
- Cons: The education, the machines, the price...shall I go on?
