Worth a visit, then another, then another. . .

The best tamales I've had in the Chicago area. Most I've had from other places (restaurants and stores)are, at best, merely okay, with more corn meal than filling. Not so at the Tamale Hut. They're a bit more expensive than the ones you can get $3 for 6 or $5 for a dozen at other places, but they're worth it. Then there's the variety. You WILL want to try each one.
- Pros: The tamales and the decor
- Cons: The location is a little inconvenient given the street layout
great little spot

I frequently stop by this place when I'm going to or coming from Target and the Tamales are AWESOME!!! The owners are nice and the restaurant has a really nice atmosphere--It's great to get tamales that aren't from the back of a truck (not that there's anything wrong with that). The cheese tamales are super tasty.
