My car was mildly over heating and I pulled over on the Kennedy. I was about to put more coolant in it when they pulled up. My car started smoking a little and it was a first for me, so not exactly sure what to do. They pulled up seconds later and immediately situated themselves to hitch me up. I gradually agreed after he said, "it's just a tow." I rode with them for 5 minutes before a broken english first appraisal came out. " You know 95, 1st is 10, 3 after 10." My economics and masters degree aside I assumed I understood these people, and that the worst I could understand was that the 1st 10 miles was $10 a mile, pretty horrible, but at least they were there....

Once we get closer they inform me, CASH ONLY............seriously, now we have to go to a ATM?

Alright I have $200, no worries, probably 95 + 60 for driving costs, not too bad NOT SO MUCH....They have decided that 1st is 10 means that the 1st mile = 10 miles and every mile after that adds to that, so the 8 miles I had to go is 18. IT GETS BETTER! They then charge 2X on the driving distance 36 MILES (no real reason other than screwing you (thats H&H TOWING SEARCH ENGINES) Amazingly it gets better still as they charge you $45 for "labor" bringing my 8 mile towing to $248 dollars. Generally i would beat up these people, tell them they are dirt, and take my money back, but when you are towed, you are their hostage. They pulled off seconds after I got to MY repairshop (who they were very reluctant to go to..since it was not on their pay roll) Where the owner told me they are notorious for this and that a tow should be 1/3 that cost.

There are no lower people then rip-off tow people because you have no option. I had to sit with them for 2 minutes after they robbed me. Avoid these scam artists if possible!
