Krystle is the best stylist ever!. I have been going to SoloSalon for four years now and I love love love Krystle! She is amazing! I first started seeing her after moving to the West Loop and haven't seen another stylist since! She is truly amazing! I never come in with any idea of what I want and always leave looking fabulous! She is truly a talented stylist and I highly recommend her!

Best Stylist/Colorist EVER!. I went to Solo from a recommendation from a friend who referred me to Krystle. Solo is probably the most beautiful salon in the city of Chicago! Krystle was so wonderful! She is a great colorist thats for sure and definatley gave me just what I asked for! I brought in a picture of what I wanted and I didnt think it was possible (considering my last dye job at a neighboring salon was not so great and left a green shade to my hair) but that girl worked a miracle and my color is AMAZING! I would highly recommend her! My hair is beautiful and has never looked this good in 33 years! If you want great color and a beautiful cut you wont be disappointed with her!

Worst Salon Experience EVER. I live walking distance from the salon. Last time I went, my haircut was OK, decently priced, but the stylist was annoying about pushing hair products on me. I decided to give it another chance recently and had another stylist (Krystle- she has been mentioned in a more positive review). 1) She never asked how to pronounce my name, and she pronounced it wrong the whole time. 2) It was the roughest cut I've even had- she kept combing over my ears and was really hard with the brush; the hairdryer got so hot I almost shrieked. My scalp is still burning. 3) Even though I told her I don't use a lot product in my hair or spend a lot of time blowdrying it unless I need to, that's what she did for most of the appointment. The actual cut time was less than 3 minutes. 4) When I said I'm not sure how I would maintain the look since I don't have the time to do what she did, she basically blew me off and said she didn't do anything I couldn't do. Point is: I'm not going to. I shouldn't cater to my stylist. 5) After washing my hair myself, it looks WORSE. 6) She knew I wasn't thrilled but still shooed me out. The whole appointment was 20 minutes. MY WORST SALON EXPERIENCE EVER.

Can't believe I paid money for the experience.

I gave one star for the receptionist who seemed nice.

Best Stylist Ever. I went to Solo salon after a friend recommended me to her sylist, Crystal. She was amazing. The salon is beautiful and she gave me just what I wanted. I feel like she did just what I asked for plus what I needed and couldnt quite explain. I would recommend this place to anyone and I have.I also got my brows waxed with Basha and she gave me brows I didnt know I could ever have. She also colored them with henna and gave them a really polished look! Awesome salon so visit them and you wont be disappointed!

Kristine is the best!!. I have had some good haircuts and some bad haircuts, but with Kristine I always know my haircut will be perfect. She has great style and knows what will work with your look and style as well. Prices can be a little steep, but you have to splurge every once in awhile.
