Best shop in town

Laima and her massage staff provide the best bargain in Chicago. After coming here for five years this place is always immaculately clean, warm, cozy, has hot showers, and friendly staff. The massage staff includes an Olympic Silver Metallist who was a sprinter (runner). Their massage-bodywork treats, sooths, and heals painful, sore or stiff joints and muscles exactly like an athlete would need. Nowhere else in Chicago comes close to them. When I leave I am always smiling and look forward to my return. Bruce

worst customer service award

I called the Body Work & Massage Source today and left a message asking to confirm my appointment. When I made the appointment, I was asked if I wanted a confirmation call a few days before since I was a new customer. I knew the appointment was soon and was hoping they would call back because I did not write down the appointment in my calendar.

The salon owner called me back today to let me know that my appointment was a week and a half ago. When I asked why I hadn't received a confirmation call, she said there were no notes to give me a call and she didn't know what she could do about it since it was a groupon. When I reminded her about the call she began to get snippy and told me to stop "pushing" her. I was only calmly asking why she hadn't called me to confirm. Then she told me I could look in her appointment book and that maybe someone else took the appointment. I assured her that she was who I spoke to and again, I was asked to stop "pushing" her.

So, Groupon, I'd like my money back. I would prefer not to go to a salon with an owner as rude as this. I wonder how small business owners can stay in business with this attitude. A bit of customer service would have been nice.

Excellent massage!

I had my second fantastic massage at the Body Work and massage Source on Lincoln. They are so professional and are really excellent.

I have had massages that are neither relaxing nor beneficial...this was both! And its calm and quiet.

Perfect way to start the weekend.

BEST SCRUB AND MASSAGE IN TOWN!!!!

I scheduled for a Salt scrub "Glow" and massage. This was the first time I have ever had a scrub, but needed to exfoliate prior to a sunless tanning appointment tomorrow, and thought it would be a great idea.

I truly wish my visit was longer. Laima was genuine, professional, and truly gifted. What a blessing to cross paths...for mind, spirit, and body.

As a provider in the world of Dermatology, I am quite selective with whom I trust my skin. I couldn't have had a better experience and will recommend family, friends, and collleagues. THANK YOU!!!
