In Short – Seemingly alone on a shabby strip between Halsted and Kingsbury, the former Dragon Room space received the works in redesign. Past the doormen, climb a long outdoor ramp lined with diaphanous curtains before entering the main level where a sunken lounge area buzzes with bottle-served groups. Wood paneling complements flagstone, slate and red Persian carpet. Bars bookend the space. Hip-Hop--from commercial rap to deep cuts from lesser known artists--plays crisply at reasonable levels.
A waste of time

This place is absolutely terrible. They have the worse DJ in the city. Drinks were too small and overprice.Small dance floor. Cover was $30 and not even worth it. Never going back.
- Pros: Ambience
- Cons: DJ. Little Drinks
Very Nice Venue

I've gone to many clubs in my lifetime and there are a certain few that keep me coming back. One of them is Boutique Nightclub. They have a lot of themed events, drink specials, and door deals (i.e no cover b4 11 or midnight and sometimes discounted). The music tends to be in the top 40's but on Saturdays they are bring back B-Side in VIP that plays no mainstream music. They did B-Side once before on Fridays and it got cancelled and I stopped going. (I'm not a mainstream type of person) but now that its back I'd reccomand any HIP HIP lover to come and check it out! Get there early because they tend to charge a lot after 11pm :-(. Crowd tends to be mixed, dance floor crowded, drinks tasty, staff so/so.
- Pros: The bottom level is like a lounge nice to relax and sip cocktails in.
- Cons: It can be a little too dark in there.
LOVE IT!

This is one of the best clubs I have been to in Chicago in a long time! Ive been going there almost every weekend for the past few months, and everytime im there, there is something different to experience...wine tastings, holiday theme parties etc. I found the concepts very unique and interesting! I loved the inside decor - it was very appealing and upscale. There were also some of the best looking people I have seen out in one spot. I heard the dress code was very strict which might not appeal to some, but i guess it works because everyone was dressed sexy/classy/trendy. the crowd was very diverse so anyone of any ethnicity would feel comfortable going there. One thing that did pose a problem was the line outside so I would say to get there early! But if you do happen to get stuck in the line, it is definitely worth the wait!
