One of my favorite small boutique hotels. The rooms are tiny but really well decorated.

Hip, laid-back, pet-friendly, great location. Hotel Indigo was a refreshing change from the typical bland Chicago hotel with fresh, hip decor, a laid-back vibe, and good amenities. Aveda toiletries are a favorite, so I was happy they stock this brand. The parking garage right next door did a great job (and offers a couple dollars' discount if you pay at the hotel front desk). Our room was comfortable, quiet, pretty and ultra clean. The rate was typical for the area, and the location was perfect for all the Magnificent Mile has to offer. Would stay there again, and bring my dog!

Not worth the hassle. We stayed on a Saturday night after an event downtown. We checked in with two rooms under one name and there was confusion at the front desk. They double charged our card and when we called to clear it up they were not helpful and charged the card again. The credit card company canceled our card and issued a new one after all the trouble. Dealing with them after being a guest was not a pleasant experience. Parking was also a hassle and the rooms are very small, the bathrooms even more tiny. We would not stay there again or recommend it.

Great relaxing hotel in awesome Chicago neighborhood. My husband and I stayed here, after randomly reserving the room on hotwire. We were a little worried about it being too modern, but it was a great hotel. Very clean and crisp. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is in the awesome Gold Coast neighborhood, close to restaurants and walking distance to the beach on Lakeshore drive, and Michigan Avenue. We didn't realize we would have it so good! Highly recommended.

Great Boutique Hotel. Stayed here due to a problem in my apt. They give discounts to those who are from the area. The rooms have modern decor and feel. They are also a nice size. The bathroom had an open shower that allowed the water to get all over, so it was hard to keep your feet dry in there after. The staff was very friendly and loved the wi-fi. I would recommend this hotel!

overpriced. I stayed here one night while in town for a musical. Location is pretty good, just north of shopping, and lots of restaurants. Local night life is fantastic. The accomadations however were like staying in a dorm. It was like the University of Key West. Great decor, yet for twenty to forty dollars more I could have stayed in the loop with all the ammenities. Staff very friendly, and helpfull. I wouldn't stay here again.

Cool colors, and European ambience reign at this Gold Coast boutique hotel.. In Short
The lobby of this boutique hotel is decorated in cool blues and greens with wood floors and lots of natural light adding warmth. Colorful guest rooms are equipped with CD players, cable TV, hair dryers, irons and coffeemakers. The property is within walking distance of key financial and business centers. Popular tourist attractions such as Old Town, Wrigley Field and the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum are a short drive away.
