SEARS Centre Someone PLEASE take it over! Hello LIVE Nation!. It just sucks every weekend having limo groups go past an awesome venue with a great club and sound. When the Sears Centre 1st Opened it was off the hook! Now that the village of Hoffman Estates basically owns it. I see it becoming nothing but a money pit to the tax payers! It truly is an awesome venue on the inside. Amcore Club and Loge boxes are superb. That is of no meaning when the shows are no better than your typical High School event. The Chicago Bliss is the only event anyone is interested in and that is basically guys only. Please Hoffman Estates and who ever has any say in this venues future~Just give it to LIVE Nation!! They will pump 1st rate shows in there and the revenue will come! H E city council YOU brought this place down! I know I sat in on many a meeting where you lolly gagged around (Taylor Swift should have been back there!) or Oooo we don't want them. Hope HE is happy you sure made Rosemonts day!

Best arena for concerts in Chicago. I finally made it out to the Sears Centre for the Billy Joel concert in December and loved it there so much just recently went back for the Matchbox Twenty concert. This place is SO easy to get to (and I live in the city) and it's right on 90. I had heard how great the sound was there but could not believe how great it really was when I was there live. For Billy Joel I was in the second level and couldn't believe how great the seats were. Then for Matchbox Twenty I sat in their club section which had a huge bar and lounge for everyone with club seats. Me and my friends were able to drinks some beers there before the best concert I have seen in a long time. I hope they add a few new items to their concession stands, but overall I thought the place was fantastic for watching a concert and they have plenty of other family shows and sporting events.
