Fabulous clothes in a great atmosphere. I found Kaveri when I was visiting Chicago several months back. I was in the neighborhood and was delighted to discover this little treasure. The clothes are beautiful and there is an ambiance to match. I walked in and was greeted by the friendly associate. What I noticed was that she was most friendly, but not at all overly-attentive. I often find that I feel I am being "watched" in small boutiques like this... but not at Kaveri. I felt I could take as much time to brouse the racks and that I would have any help that I needed, but no one was peering over my shoulder. Not to mention there were some delicious chocolates to taste!

The clothes were beautiful and were arranged wonderfully. I felt I could see everything without having to dig, and the outfit layouts were great. Some items had magazine layouts next to them to offer ideas for how to wear certain pieces.

There was a wide array of garments; I didn't feel like every item was a variation on the same theme. This was a store where I felt like I could find several of those "fabulous" pieces that you keep in your closet forever. Nothing was too trendy, so the items seemed to hold more value.

I will definitely return to Kaveri the next time I'm in Chicago!!
