In Short – Chocolate lovers flock to this chandelier-decked candy shop, which has been selling its handmade treats to Seasons for years. Exposed brick walls and white curtains hung from salvaged awnings are awash in red lighting that spans from floor to ceiling. The artsy chocolate selection includes Val de Loire, milk chocolate with fresh raspberries, Turkish rose oil and Chambord enveloped in crushed rose petals and Mentha, dark chocolate ganache accented with eucalyptus and peppermint. – –
Mmmmmm.....chocolate.....
by ziggymarley
Is it the helpful and friendly folks? Well, that's great and gives you that snuggly neighborhood feeling, but that's not it. Is it the atmosphere? That's OK (thought they need a couple more tables), but that's not it, either. It's the #&*@! chocolate...Mmmmm.....Stop reading this review RIGHT NOW and go get some chocolate emulsion. You cannot believe how delicious it is, and it beats all hell out of coffee. Do it now. Thank me later.
Go.
- Pros: It's chocolate!
- Cons: Needs to feel a bit loungier.
