A late night spot that's a go-to when the other bars have closed. But it's fun all the time.
Good time!!. I just want to say that my ex husband and I were use to going to downtown bars, like level for example so I am use to m,any different types of place, well lately I have rsorted to hanging around my home, and I have to say I do not regret it., I have had the best time at a couple different places and I just had to spread the word about these two spots that I found out of the blue. haha BLUE.... anyway.. Blue Light, Great staff, I couldn't believe how nice these people are, great bartenders, The sisters that work the front bar are beautiful and know wat they are doing, well I think they are sisters.. I was impressed by the security, they were not pigs nor were they bullies. I even was made a drink by manager.. I was honestly impressed especially since it is a hidden place right off of Belmont on Western.. Good work Blue Light, you definitely make my nights a blast when I go there.. I have to also thank them for a great breakfast place suggestion, We had a GREAT greek Omelete,Steak Sandwich and Pizza Puff Yum Thanks BLUE LIGHT
Great Late!. Three words.. two dollar PBR! Now that's what I'm taking about after you got kicked outta the early closing bars and find yourself stumbling into this place. Plus with all the money you save on your cheap drinks you can throw them towards the touch screen gambling stations at the end of the bar. Love it. This is my fav bar for sure.
ae you kidding me?. the doorman looked at my shoes and called me a "niggar" and woldn't let me in. Would you go in to place like that
Late-night bar under Western overpass gives the nocturnal a place to end up..
In Short
When most of Chicago is winding down, Bluelight is just getting started. This 250-person hideout from the owners of Matisse and Waterhouse serves up $2 PBR drafts until closing. A solid wood bar sits to the left, surrounded by exposed brick walls and flatscreen TVs. Another room opens in the back, featuring a second bar with funky cushioned benches. DJs spin six days a week and patrons can order in from a selection of area eateries.
