Do yourself a favor. Drive, CTA or cab 2 Evanston for 1 of my fave restaurants. I don't like bone marrow (shoot me!) but this is 2 die for.

Top Evanston dining. For bread to begin your meal, there is a choice of baguette, multi-grain or scallion walnut roll. All are delicious, and don't worry, you will be offered bread throughout the meal, so you have the chance to try them all.

Try the Liquid Cauliflower Ravioli as an appetizer. The ravioli is squid ink pasta and topped with smoked salmon and apple compote diced in perfect millimeter thick cubes. It might sound bizarre, but it is unbelievably good.

Honestly, all the entrees I've had have been great. Winter Squash Agnoletti is simultaneously hearty and delicate, the Grouper in lemongrass broth over bulgur is subtly spicy but never overpowering. Moto excels in balancing flavors in all of his dishes.

Huge props to pastry chef Claire Crenshaw for consistently creating unique and incredibly tasty dessert like Organic Apple Water with sour cream panna cotta, oatmeal cake, apple compote, and crispy sweet potato strips. I know Andy Motto is always heaped with praise, and deservedly so, but Crenshaw is Quince's secret weapon. I would come for a tasting menu of each dessert.

High Quality Food, Low Prices, Great Atmosphere. Quince is a great special occasion place and also a good place to go any day of the week. The decor and service make it a special occasion place while the prices are easy on the bank account! I loved the liquid califlower ravioli.

Great Cozy Spot for Dinner With Friends. What a perfect spot to throw a dinner party with friends! Ten of us gathered in the Terrace Room at Quince recently and everyone's ready to set another date for a return visit. The room itself was beautifully lit and the table was set as a square, so you could see & talk to everyone. We all sampled the martinis and the pomegranate and quince tini were the favorites. My friend's husband was thrilled with the beer selection -- who knew! The food was outstanding. Incredible sweetbreads and shaved asparagus salad to start, and the duck breast my husband ordered was a dish we have to return for. There was something for everyone on the menu, even the one vegetarian in the group who of course ordered the cucumber tini and the warm hummus plate. The service was attentive, but not intrusive. And being tucked into the Terrace Room left us feeling like we had our own private, VIP dining experience.

Fantastic choice in Evanston. My wife and I decided to try a restaurant outside of the city. We saw Quince's video and decided to give it shot. The service was excellent. The portions were small, but the food was delicious. The ambiance was upscale, warm and charming. The whole dining experience was fantastic. We ended getting the grilled skirt steak and the lamb ribs. I highly recommend both. If you need to find a nice place to eat an Evanston or open to trying something outside the city, give Quince restaurant a try.
