In Short – Occupying the street level of the historic Jeweler's building, this sprawling bar and grill is multi-functional. The main room is dominated by the expansive bar, but allows space for several high-top tables and rows of sit-down booths and four-tops. A quick-order carving station does speedy lunchtime service, and a raised, semi-private area works for larger groups and events. The menu is meat and root-vegetable-heavy in Irish tradition, but also features lighter options like salads.

This was a warm and cozy atmosphere with a dark wood bar and open layout. The service was sweet and attentive. Food was delicious, the cornbeef sando was one of the best and we were told no one has complained yet, and we weren't the first.

Fun Happy Hour Spot

I have been to Emerald Loop twice now. Once for Lunch and once for happy hour. For lunch I had the fish and chips and they were excpetional, the service was a little slow but luckily we weren't in a huge hurry. More recently we hosted a happy hour for some of our clients and the service was definitely top notch. Not only was our waitress on spot but she was crazy busy. Its always nice when you don't have to wait long for drinks especially when a place is packed. Best of all we asked her to 'surprise' us by picking out our appetizers, and she did, and they were great. I was extremely pleased at the service and quality of the food, and will most definitely be back!

One of my favorite places in the Loop

This place has great food for late night, dinner or even breakfast. This great Irish Pub shares the same owner and recipes as Mystic Celt and Corcoran's. This once abandoned part of Wabash now has a great Irish pub and outdoor space. The food is outstanding and it is only steps from the Loop and River North.
