worst experience ever. This is by far the worst hair experience I've ever had. After the stylist turned my long, healthy blonde hair GREEN, I spent the next 6 hours and A LOT OF MONEY getting it bleached out and fixed, including washing my hair with dish soap in order to get the green out. And now my hair feels awful for having to go thru all that processing. And when I called the owner the next day to let him know about it, he blamed it on me and told me it was my fault for not being man enough and telling him about it sooner.....like I should have lived with the green hair for new years eve. Then he tells me I can't have my money back, he makes fun of groupon and tells me to take it up with them, he yells at me, and hangs up on me!!!!!! Worst customer service I've ever received. However, the one good thing that did come of this, he tells me to go ahead and bad mouth him all I want. So here ya go Tim, let the bad mouthing begin.

Hurray for Carrie & Heather at Lather. Oh my god. My hair is amazing! Both Carrie and Heather are super experienced and nicely priced. My hair always looks good thanks to them. The salon is really cute too and they use top of the line products! Go see them before they get too booked. Your hair and wallet will be happy!

Finally...a great salon in Chicago.. I went to lather on a reccomendation from a friend and all I have to say is WOW!!! I went there because I was interested in hair extensions and for ithe first time in a LONG time they were honest and friendly. I was told that my hair was a bit too short for actual extensions, but that the Jessica Simpson clips would work. We triend on about 5 before finding one that every one of the employees agreed on. What was cool was that everyone worked together as a team. They also took the time to make sure that I knew how to put them on. The price was right...under $100 and people are like wow you look great!! I am planning on going back in September to get real extensions put in and I am honestly counting the days. This place is a true gem. I felt no pressure and they really cared about what I wanted and was comfortable with. The thing that impressed me the most was how well they all worked together where as most salons they don't even say hi to each other. Also, I watched them work on some other clients and I was so impressed by how honest and creative they were. This place is an A++++ in my book.
