Delicious Cake and very easy to work with!. Being that I am a cake connoisseur, well, at least I think of myself as one, I was very involved in picking out my cake for my wedding day. I went to 6 different bakeries to taste cake! (The best part about planning a wedding!)

Amy Beck Cake Design was our last tasting, and we were floored with the deliciousness of the cake. We tried all sorts of cake flavors and frostings; Amy Beck was there with us along the way informing us of various flavor combination's. She was very helpful, nice and down to earth and super easy to work with.

We decided on the Devil's Food Cake with Creme Cheese Filling and Chocolate Ganache frosting...decadent! It turned out absolutely beautiful and tasted amazing. Guests couldn't stop talking about the cake and even months after the wedding I still hear how wonderful the cake was!

She also did a fabulous cake for one of my friend's son's 1st birthday party.

I can't wait to use her again.

Beautiful and Delicious Cake!. I can't say enough about the cake we received from Amy for our Teddy Bear Ball event. I told Amy we had a zoo theme and gave her our foundation logo and asked her to just be creative. The cake was EVERYTHING I hoped for and so much more. I would never get a cake from anyone else in this city. Not to mention she is one of the nicest and sweetest people I've ever worked with. Keep up the great work, Amy!

Birthday Cake. I've written a review before, but I had to write another one! I have now ordered 3 cakes from Amy. One for a good friend, one for my husband and now one for ME!

I was excited to have an excuse to get my own cake from Amy, for my birthday. I had a rough idea of what I was looking for and after sharing those thoughts with Amy, she created a custom cake that was exactly what I wanted, even if I didn't know it yet.

The cake was delicious and beautiful. My guests raved all night about how awesome the cake looked, tasted and that it was totally a 'me' cake!

I highly recommend Amy for any cake, she is talented, amazing but truly cares about her customers. I can't wait to get another cake!

40th Birthday Cake. Amy made a fantastic cake for my husband's surprise 40th birthday party. It looked great exactly what I envisioned and tasted even better. Amy was very easy to work with especially with the distance. We live in NC and our family and party local was in Chicago. A lot of detail and work went into this cake and it showed. I would highly recommend her for any event you may have planned.

WHAT A CAKE!!!!!!!!. I had Amy make a cake for my daughter in laws baby shower. I wanted something unique and asked her to design it after my son's favorite book as a child "light in the attic" she brought the book to life. It was the hit of the shower. Just beautiful. The taste was incredible, so moist. Even the staff at the restaurant Dine got to try some and were in awe. She is a joy to work with as well. Thank you Amy. I couldn't imagine using anyone but you for a special occasion.

Beautiful and Delicious Cakes!. I ordered a cake shaped like a kazoo for my Grandfathers 90th birthday party. I had never ordered a cake like this before and Amy was so nice and helpful. Her shop is warm and welcoming. The cake was beautiful and tasted SO GOOD! Even after it was served people kept coming up and cutting their own piece of what little was actually leftover!

Takes Care of Everything. We were very lucky to have Amy make our Wedding Cake. We had a winter wedding, and Amy incorporated everything we wanted to provide a really unique and appropriate cake.

Cake was delicious, and Amy provides an amazing experience.

Cake so pretty its shame it has to be eaten!. A tasty wedding cake that had our guests raving for months after the wedding. Thought it was pricey, we still feel it was worth every penny. They were able to take two photos for inspiration and create a dream cake. Highly recommended.

The best wedding cake ever!. We met with Amy 2 months before our wedding. We didn't know what we wanted for our cake with the only exception....we didn't want anything traditional. With our wedding at Wrigley Field, Amy came up with 3 different desings that "knocked it out of the park". I still can't believe that the end result was a delicious dessert! Amy was very easy going and listened to every last detail that we discussed and she took the reins and delivered a work of art that our guests still have not stopped talking about! I felt guilty cutting into it, but I'm glad we did because not only was it gorgeous to look at, it was absolutely delicious. I would reccomment Amy Beck to anyone that needs a wonderful cake for any event.

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!. I worked with Amy for about 2 months on a cake for our comapny's 50th year anniversary party. We are based in MN, so had to all the work via e-mail and mail. It was a very detailed concept we were looking for and she nailed it perfectly. The cake was a surprise for the owners and they couldn't believe it. (They were each in the cake as figures)! It was also received well with all the attendees of the event, so much so, that we are in the process of having the top (which was removable) brought back to MN to put on display! It should be here by Monday!!!! Thanks Amy for all your hard work and attention to detail!
