my guests are still talking about our wedding cakes. We met with Amy a little less than a year ago. It was like walking into a friends home. She was very welcoming and the smell of the cakes being made was out of this world! I had already spoken to her about surprising my husband with a groomscake before we arrived so she really paid attention to what flavors he liked best. She asked us to tell her about ourselves and as we spoke she sketched, minutes later she had drawn the perfect wedding cake. It was everything we wanted and the flavors were outstanding. My husband and I are avid motorcyclists and I had Amy make the Harley Davidson logo as his groomscake. He and our guests were wowed with that!!! We were married at the Adler in June and months later everyone is still talking about how amazing our cakes were, visually stunning and tasted awesome!!! Amy is hands down the best this city has to offer in cakes!!!

Amazing Attention to Detail!!!!!. Amy and her team did an amazing job on the groom's cake for my wedding on 9/19/09. She replicated his motorcycle and well let's just say it was a huge hit! Everyone was in awe of her work and amazing attention to detail. When I did the tasting I couldn't decide on a filling so she boxed up some cake and the fillings I was torn between for me to take home. Amy is a true gem in this crazy world. Doing business with her was like dealing with my best friend. I will suggest her to everyone I know!

A++ for Wedding Cakes. I loved the wedding cake Amy did for us. It was beautiful and it was really, really good. We did a few tastings before finding Amy, but weren’t wowed by how any of the cakes tasted. Then we had a tasting w/ Amy and signed her right away. Her cakes don’t taste like your typical wedding cakes. They’re moist and flavorful and her work is beautiful. She was very easy to work with and listened to what we wanted. We also did 4 different cake flavors and fillings (1 per layer). So, we had a cake station which was a big hit. Meet w/ Amy if you want your cake to taste really, really good and for it to be beautiful as well.

Fantastic. I was just married on September 26th and Amy made our wedding cake. When we first went to our tasting, she was so friendly and cared about what we wanted. She did not try to get us to buy an outrageous cake. The cake was like no other cake I have ever tasted. Each time I contacted Amy, she remembered me by name and I felt pleased by not being just another client. Her cakes are fantastic and the service you get is even better. Thank you so much for helping to make my wedding memorable.

Great, great cake, terrific customer service. Amy was wonderful! I called from out of town on a party I was planning from 2000 miles away. She worked with me and my budget, and dealt with the "surprise" element of the party extremely well (as well as the sense of humor we were working on, in terms of making the cake funny for the guest of honor).

The cake was also DELICIOUS and everyone at the party commented on how great it looked AND how great it tasted. Highly recommended.

Amy is absolutely wonderful!!!. Amy did the wedding cake for my may 09 wedding and we decided to go with a tower of cupcakes since we were having a casual brunch reception.

My cupcakes were delivered and perfect! they tasted amazing (tiramisu) and looked gorgeous. We got complements on them all afternoon!

Thanks so much, Amy, for making my wedding day even more special.

OMG! The MOST fabulous cake!!. For my recent wedding in June, I asked Amy to create a surprise groom's cake for my future husband. An avid fan of Star Wars, Amy and I worked together to identify the character that would be best featured in cake form. We chose R2D2 and I came to grips that there would be a Star Wars character at my wedding. When my husband and I arrived at the reception, R2 was the first thing I saw when I entered. My husband and I actually screamed when we saw him. This cake was BEYOND my expectation. The detail put into this cake was superior to anything I've seen. The colors were exact. The form of the robot was so realistic, my husband didn't realize it was a cake! This cake was the hit of the wedding. We didn't take the top of our actual wedding cake home, but did take R2 home (he was so fantastic, we wouldn't let anyone cut and eat him).

Amy is absolutely wonderful at making cakes come to life. Her creativity and attention to detail is second to none. The cake and frosting itself was also outstanding (better than my wedding cake). The cake was delivered flawlessly and it was one less thing I needed to worry about among all the wedding planning logistics. I can't recommend Amy Beck Cake Designs enough and look forward to having an event where I can have another fabulous cake invented!

Amy Beck Cake Design is great!. Amy designed our cake for our 8/1/09 wedding, which was held at the Trump Towers. The cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted wonderful! We had many, many compliments on the apprearance and on the taste of our gorgeous cake. Amy is a top notch professional. She was available throughout the planning process, and the day of the wedding, she was prompt and carried through with everything she promised. We could not have been happier!

Delicious & Impressive. I was referred to Amy via a work colleague – and I was delighted by the whole experience. Amy is down to earth, quick with email questions and above all that - she is a master baker. This gal can create things I can’t even dream up!

Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious our Chocolate bourbon cake with Raspberry cream filling was that evening. Not only did it taste grate - It was gorgeous.

We can’t thank her enough for creating the perfect edible masterpiece for our wedding.
