** Do not get lipo here or maybe even at all **. I wish there was a zero star option, but alas... All I will say is that if you decide to get Smart Lipo or Lipotherme anywhere thoroughly review all the review websites and do your absolute best to get to your ideal weight/size on your own. I had the lipotherme with lipo combo done at the same time and I see no difference. In fact, I look worse - far worse and am 11 lbs heavier than when I got down to best weight on my own accord.

Things to think about: scarring, cellulite (which lipo does nada for and can make look worse), fat that needs to go somewhere going to areas (this is a HUGE problem that many people complain about regardless of the doctor) where you never had fat and that your doctor is completely up front with you about all these things and does not simply hand you a big packet of fine print paperwork for you to review.

Every bad review out there for any doctor says that the doctor said "I can get you the results you want" without saying much more and well, that is exactly what happened in this situation.

Also, be sure to insist on seeing before and after pictures of your doctor's (in this case, Steven's) work.

Lastly, if you are a busy professional who doesn't have hours to sit in an office waiting, then do not go here. They do not respect their patient's time and severely overbook.

Use someone else. Very bad experience...I had a 5:00 appointment and sat there for two hours. When Dr. Mandrea came in he put a very small amount of liquid nitrogen on my foot which did nothing. This "surgery" cost me $145.00 and was completely worthless. He had me buy a peel that did absolutely nothing. When I went to a different dermatologist I had a much better experience. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.

note of appreciation. I have been struggling with acne for the better part of ten years now. I have seen countless doctors and tried everything imaginable. Nothing helped me. After researching doctors on the internet, my husband suggested I see Dr. Steven Mandrea in the Park Ridge office. Honestly, I wasn't very hopeful since I had been to so many other doctors and had not seen any significant results. Thankfully, I was wrong! Since being treated by Dr. Mandrea and the staff in the Park Ridge office (especially Su e, who is wonderful!) I have seen drastic improvement. Dr. Mandrea is very professional and really takes the time to listen. Thank you for helping me when I truly lost all hope that there was anyone or anything out there that could help.

Very good results with Smoothbeam. Since using the prescribed medication by Dr Mandrea and the smoothbeam laser, my skin is clear and the scarring is much imporved. He is an excellent doctor with a convenitently located office and curteous staff.

Liposuction. I am a 32 year old mother of two and no matter how hard I tried with dieting and exercise I could not get rid of my love handles. I went to Dr Mandrea's office for a liposuction consultation. They were very informative and took the time to answer all my questions. I set up the appointment and two weeks later I had the procedure. I am thrilled with my results. My pants fit better and I feel and look like I did before having children. I highly recommend this doctor and practice for liposuction.

Improvements. Lakeview Dermatology would like to apologize to the previous posting patient for their poor experience. We want to do a better job of providing excellent dermatologic care with reasonable waiting times. To that end, we will be much more sensitive and attentive to patients requiring brief visits for suture removals so that they are seen expeditiously.

Don't go!. I went to see Dr. Mandrea and when I got there my appointment was switched to Dr. Mandrea Jr. He was nice, but most of the work was done by a resident they had - and I did not appreciate that at all. I went to get my stiches removed and the resident was the only one there that Saturday. She made me wait 45 minutes to remove 3 stiches. The whole procedure took no more that a minute and she charged me the full $30.00 co-pay for what she called a "consultation". I tried arguing with her about the $30.00 but she said that was the fee; I told her she spent less than a minute with me removing the stiches and she charged me anyway. I will never go to Dr. Mandrea's again - their staff is not friendly and they are not considerate towards their patients and their needs. They take advantage of their patients - they lost one the day they took advantage of me!

Great dermatologist, very professional staff - thank you. I want to share my appreciation for Dr Mandrea and his staff for their professionalism competence and kindness. They have taken years off my face with Botox, Sculptra,and recently the Pixel Fractional Laser.

Not only are the wrinkles and sagging markedly reduced, but multiple age spots have disappeared. My face has a new glow. Appointments are easy to obtain, the staff is courteous and efficient.

Highly recommended.

Love my flat tummy!!. I am a 58 year old grandmother with no hips and no thighs, but I have always had a little tummy, and Dr. Mandrea made my flat tummy dreams come true! Doing liposuction was not an easy decision for me, but I went for it and have not looked back. During the consultation, Dr. Mandrea was extremely patient with my questioning and I feel he gave me realistic expectations of the results. His office staff was extremely attentive and the surgical nurse was exceptional. Dr. Mandrea is attentive, caring, and concerned about his patients. I was at work the next day and on the tennis court by the end of the week. I would recommend Dr. Mandrea and tumescent liposuction to anyone. His Park Ridge office is beautiful and convenient for us suburbanites. The compliments on my new figure haven't stopped. Now....I have him doing my botox, too!
