STAY AWAY

This is the first time I have ever written a review on an establishment, but I am so unhappy with the service and results, I actually registered so I can write this review and hopefully save someone else from wasting their money.

I drove 10 miles everyday fourth week of the month to get laser hair removal for the past 7 months, and I have had poor results. The hair grows back in a matter of days.

Plus, I think the staff are rude and inconsiderate. You may have to sit in the waiting room for an hour before you actually get seen.

TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN!!!

Horrible Experience - WASTED MY MONEY

I went to Maya Med Spa for 8 months now and it DID NOT WORK FOR ME after I spent almost $2,600. Of course, you CANNOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK. They just tell you to keep coming every four weeks for THREE YEARS. Who wants to get painful laser surgery for three years? They tell you it only takes four visits, which is very misleading. And, they barely have any available weekend appointments unless you make them a month in advance.

The point is: In my opinion, there are many other places in the area that provide the same service for a BETTER PRICE, and actually accomplish what you are paying them for.

• Pros: The only pro about this place is that the techs are nice.

Unprofessional Staff

I was excited when I left for my consultation. I felt that I finally would be able to afford getting rid of the hair that is a huge embarassment to me. The lady I met with did not provide me very much information. She just stated how great the equiptment was. Oh, she also stated how hairy of a person I was. She said I NEEDED treatments everywhere. I had to tell her repeatedly that I was okay with the hair on my arms and the area on my face that she pointed out. She did not understand that I only wanted (Or could afford) to do a specific area. She kept saying that I needed to open a credit there. I wanted to speak to Nathan to ask him about the cost to treat my neck. He had emailed me stating that often there is very little work in the neck area and they do not charge clients who do other areas. We waited for him and when he came in the room he only stated that the woman told him I needed treatements all over my face. If either of these people cared at all about what I wanted as a customer I would have signed up. But they insulted me and made me feel horrible after I left. I didn't think I could feel worse about my situation, but they sure did prove me wrong. I told Nathan in an email stating how I felt about my consultation and he didn't care to respond. These people make their money by making people feel bad about themselves. I have read many comments about how these people pressured you into buying packages. I go to a place like this to feel good about myself, not feel worse.
