Highly Recommended! Within minutes of my call with Mike, I knew that I had found the right jeweler to design a custom engagement ring for my bride-to-be. I am a perfectionist when it comes to important purchases like this and in sharing my standards I was assured by Mike that I would not be disappointed. When the original finished product's symmetry was not quite to my satisfaction - admittedly, no one could see what I saw, but again I am a perfectionist - Mike's focus was solely on ensuring that I was completely satisfied. In the end, I know that Mike incurred additional expense in addressing my concern. While I openly expressed my willingness to compensate him for the additional expense, Mike took care of it and simply offered his thanks for my patience and understanding. The ring is PERFECT and each time I see its brilliant beauty on my bride-to-be's finger I am glad that I found Mike!

Mike Gale did a great job in helping me out!!!! He educated me on the diamond process and helped me create my fiance's ring exactly how I wanted it to be in a very short amount of time. He basically pulled off a miracle for me. His pricing was superb and I cannot express how good he treats his customers. Not shopping at a chain jeweler was the best thing I could've done and I'm happy to have been referred to Gale Diamonds. They did a great job!!! I received a much better diamond in a custom made setting for a better price than a chain store. Can't go wrong!!! THANKS MIKE for making it special for my fiance. She said YES!!!

Very professional and dedicated to customer service. Mike is the man to see if you want to feel that your business and money is in the right hands. The engagement ring he produced for me absolutely blew my girlfriend's mind! Her expression was worth every penny. In the weeks prior to choosing a jeweler I had learned a whole lot more than I cared to know about diamonds and settings but Mike was able to teach me yet more. He was not pushy to make a sale nor was he insistent like some jewelers who beleive they know better than you. During first meeting, Mike took the time to explain how he works with his clients, thus laying the groundwork for a positive experience - no surprises. All in all, a dynamite product backed by exceptional service.

Best Diamond Guy in the City!. My girlfriend went to South Africa on a volunteer trip and this gave me plenty of time to do my research and pick a great diamond place before she got back. She had no idea I was going to propose to her when she got back. Mike came highly recommended by my best friend and his custom work is amazing. Mike makes you feel comfortable in his office and doesn't come across salesy like other diamond guys. He takes his work seriously and explains your options thoroughly. I was so impressed with my initial visit that I had my boss come with me the second round to see what Mike had to offer him as an anniversary present to his wife. Mike had a great collections or diamonds and will show you computer designs so you know what the ring will look like before it's made. I ended up picking out a round cut halo design based off what I knew my girlfriend liked. The custom ring was ready in under a couple of weeks. The final product was exquisite and surpassed my expectations. Needless to say, I will definitely be going to Mike for any future jewelry purchases as he is someone I trust in Chicago.

Great Service. I recently bought a diamond engagement ring from Mike Gale. Mike was the first jeweler that I spoke with, and I was immediately impressed with his knowledge and customer service. I did check the competition, and I was convinced that Gale Diamonds would be the place to do business. Mike was very patient and took the time to explain all of the variables in selecting a diamond. He visited with me on a number of occasions, once even in the evening after work. He created a custom ring that my fiance absolutely loves! I've gotten a lot of compliments on what a good job I did picking out a ring, and I owe it all to Mike.

Great Service, Great Experience. Mike was fantastic throughout the entire experience. He stayed late on a Friday night to meet with me and then was able to get me what I wanted within a week so I could propose the following weekend. Great personal touch at a very fair price. I will be recommending Gale Diamond Brokers to all of my friends.

Extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Mike Gale and his team at Gale Diamonds were a pleasure to work with. I spent about 3 weeks seeking out a variety of jewelers and diamond brokers. A friend of mine referred me to see Mike, and after our first meeting I didn't look any further. I used a common question to help differentiate one jeweler/broker from another. When I asked Mike about the competition I had met with/spoken to, he took the opportunity to outline the differences in each and highlight the way that he works with his clients; most took the opportunity to bash their competitors, and I respected Mike's approach. From the beginning, Mike was very consultative, and provided good insight and general education. In the end, Mike built me a ring the perfect ring, from a description that I gave him, and my fiance loves her one of a kind right.

I would recommend Gale Diamonds to anyone looking for a great experience with a true professional.

If you are looking for the best, you have found it!. If you are looking for someone who will create a gorgeous custom ring and do exactly what you want, Mike is the jeweler to go to. He is very knowledgable and put me at ease. Mike gave me options when making my decisions and I ultimately ended up with a one of a kind diamond ring. I can't stop looking at it! Thank you Mike!

Great service, comfortable atmosphere.. Crazy as it may sound, my dad and I made a trip to chicago from minneapolis with the sole purpose of buying a diamond for an engagement ring for my soon to be fiance. I had set up appointments with multiple jewelers on jewelers row. Mike was the first that I visited. In a place that could be very intimidating, Mike was welcoming, and very helpful. He took the time to show us the ins and outs of viewing diamonds, and encouraged us to look around. Gale diamonds was as comfortable an atmosphere as I could haver asked for for buying a diamond. After I had spent the better part of two days looking at diamonds; Mike was willing to meet us downtown on a Sunday morning, knowing I was short for time, I was now able to look at his inventory with a better eye. I cannot thank mike enough for hours time. He held the diamond for me because I had not yet decided on a setting, buy decided to have my ring made locally per mike's suggestion, thought being it would be more hands on for me. I would completely feel comfortable recommending gale diamonds to friends and family. I don't normally write such reviews, but it was the least I could do to thank him foyer his service. Definitely worth the trip!
