Subway the Organic Way. Hannah's Bretzel is the tastier, organic alternative to Subway or Jimmy John's. There's no magic here, just pure organic food. In the heart of a corporate metropolis, Hannah's Bretzel puts a harried business crowd back in touch with nature. Their website is amazing too, featuring every sandwich with detailed descriptions, complete nutritional facts and drool-worthy photos. One of the best restaurant websites I've seen.

It's crazy busy during lunch hour, which gives it almost a cafeteria feel. I would love a little more of a personal touch, but I understand that's not exactly possible when you try to do what Hannah's does. You normally don't think of fast-food as nutritious, but Hannah's really blends modern with traditional. The reddish lighting inside is a little irritating, but otherwise Hannah's is great. I love their Veggie Bomb - it's like a salad sandwich.

Quick-serve casual eatery pushes heart-healthy food with its whole-grain sandwiches, salads and baked goods for breakfast and lunch.. In Short
Organic ingredients and whole-grain breads are at the core of this Magnificent Mile restaurant whose sister location is known for its trademark Swabian bretzels. Breakfast offers sweet and savory scones made with ginger, raisins and cranberries or topped with spinach and goat cheese and French ham and Swiss guyere. Sandwiches follow rustic flavors, like an earthy Black Forest ham and Swiss hugged by cucumbers and spicy whole-grain mustard. Catering is also available.
