One of the best pizzas in Chicago. No wood or coal burning oven but they still cook everything at high temperature to give the crust the perfect combination of char and chewiness. Admittedly there are a few basic pizzas such as the sausage that could maybe use a little something to jazz up the flavor but if you're looking for great flavors the Bianco (mushroom, prosciutto, and truffle oil) and many others at Sapore di Napoli are amazing. Definitely one of my top 5 Neapolitan style pizza places in Chicago and there are alot of great places these days - I believe the owners here came from Pizza DOC so hence you'll likely see a few similarities in the menus but both are top notch along with my other current favorites Spacca Napoli, Coal Fire, and Great Lake. Enjoy!

Lacking something. I ordered 2 pizzas to go- a pizza margherita and a mushroom pizza. I rushed home and 5 min later, the crusts was hard to chew and slightly burnt. The pizza did not seem like Napoli pizza at all. Maybe the crust is better if you eat it even faster from the oven, but there wasn't enough cheese on the pizza. There also wasn't much flavor.
