No hot water... NO REFUND.
Before I start my story... if you need any more convincing please read the 12 consecutive bad reviews on yahoo search.
I reserved a room for four days at this hotel. When I got there they charged me in advance. They had NO HOT WATER. I spent about 1/2 and hour being sent to 4 different rooms, all with no hot water either. Other guests were complaining about no hot water also. Everything was filthy, mold was growing in the shower and the ice machine was broken and rusted. No pool, no wifi, no ice, no fridge, no microwave. I was expecting a 'ECONO' type atmosphere and was patient with the staff but everything beyond the lobby was disgusting. I was here for only 1 hour and they REFUSED TO REFUND MY MONEY!!!! Only when I made a scene and started warning people at the front desk who were trying to check in; did they finally refund my money. In one of the hallways the maid staff propped a room door open and were smoking herb. It wreaked in the hallway! I saw broken windows on the first floor. Disgusting hotel!!! PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO STAY HERE you'll be doing yourself a huge favor. If your shopping for a bargain, I feel for you. This place is so bad however that you'll gladly pay 2x as much just to stay at a livable place. So please just save yourself the hassle, stress, and frustration and skip this stop altogether.
Good place to park but plan on a cab to hotel from airport.
Stayed here July 2008. Hotel OK. Pool "broke" they said and not working. No refrigerator in room but small cubby in mini-bar where I could place refrigerated medication. Chose this site for their "Park and Fly" plan. Parking good, location good. Liked that there was a concrete wall I could back up to to protect spare tire on back of Hummer. Courtesy van to airport was good. But on return, repeated calls to hotel went unanswered. Ended up cabbing to hotel from O'Hare. $15 cab. Still saved a bundle over parking lots. Just plan to cab back from OHare to Hotel and you will be fine.
