Editorial Review for Jilly's Too – by Fred Schlatter
In Short
Patrons descend opposing staircases entering a foyer where bouncer-backed cashiers collect cover. Just inside find remnants of Syn in a long bar and glass partitions. The main room features an area with tables and cocktail service surrounded by counters with stools. A second bar is typically several bodies deep. All eyes are on the corner stage where house bands rip through loud, brassy covers of jazz and funk classics. Singing along is encouraged, and, by cosmo round number three, inevitable.
