Do Yourself A Favor & Stop Here When Shopping For A Diamond

I had been searching for a perfect diamond for my fiance for months, and must have visited every major jeweler in Chicago and online before finally finding Jacob Ruth and meeting Michael about 2 weeks before my planned proposal. Walking in without an appointment, Michael took the time to see me and immediately made me feel more comfortable than any other jeweler I had seen previously. Over the next week, he kept in constant communication with me over different diamonds that I was interested in, and when I went back the next week he had everything that I wanted to see. His honesty and openness during the selection process led me to choose a beautiful diamond at a price I had not seen anywhere else. I am a manager of a very large hotel chain in Chicago, and the Customer Service Michael provided me was better then what I've received at most 4 & 5 star lodgings. And when you are spending thousands of dollars on any product, you want someone like him to assist you and be as patient as he was (I am a very particular & picky person). I feel much better about my purchase having worked with Michael and the other staff there. Of course, when presented with the diamond, my fiance said "YES", and her friends & family keep commenting to her how beautiful it is (and bigger than some of theirs). She went in herself last week to have it reset and the first thing she told me is how nice everyone there treated her. I will certainly recommend anyone I know shopping for a diamond to visit Michael at Jacob Ruth, and I hope those who read this will follow my advice.

Good luck shopping...take it from me that it can be a very frustrating process until you find the right jeweler to help.

• Pros: Great Staff, Great Selection, Great Service, Great Prices, Good Follow Up & Communication
• Cons: I have heard that parking is expensive, but they are right off the Wabash/Madison L stop.

Diamond among others!!

Fantastic selection and service. Easily found a diamond on their search window, and it was available within hours. The pricing and vaiue was superior to anything I saw on Jewelers Row. The area vibe has become very much like a used car lot. Jacob Ruth was a diamond in the rough..tucked away on one of the wholesale floors in the 5 S. Wabash Building. Great setting advise and customer service. We are ordering our wedding bands next week!! Thanks to Michael!!

• Pros: Service...Service...Service...
• Cons: Parking, be sure to park 1 block east in the Grant Park North Garage. Valet is too steep.
