Until this restaurant came along, workers in the Merchandise Mart and Chicago Sun-Times had few nearby options for upscale dining. How many times can one eat at the food court after all? The space is the definition of a resto-lounge. Gallery lighting shows off stark, bentwood booths, Eames Eiffelesque stools with stainless steel legs surround a substantial center bar and high-topped communal tables provide more seating options for sipping on martinis. Stylish dishes, including a bacon quiche paired with fresh greens and lamb sausage served with fresh kale, are prepared on the fly for professionals cramped for time.

Very Chic, great food & drinks!. We went on a Saturday night when Lollapalooza was going on so we're not sure if the place was empty because of that or just because of the location. We did not intend on going for dinner just drinks & apps. We sat at the bar which was just beautiful. The restaurant is really gorgeous with very clean lines. The drinks at the bar were awesome (i had a gimlet and my bf had a spiced rum & apple juice concoction which was incredible) and ordered the pork appetizer. The pork app was so delicious and the presentation was beautiful as well. It was just enough for the two of us to get an idea of the food there. We saw other entrees heading to tables and they looked just as wonderful. We are definitely going back to this place - its a hidden treasure.
