“The best bar for every occassion; before or after a concert at House of Blues, first date place but also a great singles bar, great music, comfortable padded bar stools, couches, and lounge chairs, friendly bartenders and the decor is enough just to come ”
“From a design stand point it's the best bar in the city.”
“If you are looking for good food, drinks, music, & a great time.”
“Besides the great decore it is just a friendly place and i think that is great since so many clubs are soooo rude and everyone was so nice at crimson.”
“loved that i could go there after work and get greeted with a friendly smile and then escorted to a table.”

Sexy, dark, bumpin' music and a place you'll want to void if you're over 37 years old and want to keep your soul.
go to the crimson lounge for NYE!. looking at the theme for this party, it sounds like a really good time. The "passport" is a good way to mix things up from the normal clubby scene for NYE. I'm looking forward to it!
Crimson Lounge.
My experience at Crimson Lounge was terrible.
The cocktail waitress switched from one to the next and then to a bus boy. Forgetting ordered drinks left and right. Finally when our waitress returned I asked why she was so busy looking around at all the empty tables on a Saturday night... her excuse was, "There is a big party in the back" .... After she left I got the manager after I saw the two dancing inappropriately by the front door and I complained to him. He tried to defend her and said she was always at our table and was very attentive to us... and then got cocky with me... has he ever heard the saying..."The customer is always right?" He was completely pathetic and I will never bring my service there again!
Terrible experience. Terrible service.
It's interesting. It's interesting that of Crimson's five 5-star reviews, none is by a user who has written anything else. Maybe this bar is so great that it inspires people to join Citysearch just to sing its praises. The sort of people who write, "The girls were hot and nice instead of pretentious and the guys were cute and classy." They work in the marketing department.
great customer service.
loved that i could go there after work and get greeted with a friendly smile and then escorted to a table.
The waitresses were at the front door saying hi and walking our party in. so nice!
When i asked the manager where the bathroom was(he was wearing a suit so i assumed) he put my arm in his and walked me to the restroom. I have to go back just to see if he is working there and get his name. YUMM! Talk about happy hour.
The girls were hot and nice instead of pretentious and the guys were cute and classy. I will definately be back.
always a DJ.
WOW! now i have a place to go when i cant think of where to go. There must be DJs like every night of the week since every time I go someone is spinning. The lst 2 times i have been there has been a celebrity. maybe because they are next to house of blues but Jim Belushi was at the front door checking ID's! So cool and the place is gorgeous. I had a drink by the bartender (todd) and when the manager came by to ask how everything was (thats right, a manager in a CLUB asked to see how we were doing) he mentioned that the bartender was just voted one of the best in usa by some champagne company.
Besides the great decore it is just a friendly place and i think that is great since so many clubs are soooo rude and everyone was so nice at crimson.
The cocktail waitresses were at the front door saying hello as I walked in andt hat was just class. about time chicago!
beautiful place but gave it 3 chances --- blew everytime.
they got the space right
first time we sat in a couch area drinks took FOREVER and the cocktail waitress overcharged our check. took her forever to find a manager to fix the problem.
second time we sat at the bar the bartender wouldn't stop talking about his problems
third time was new years eve, we bought tickets everything was fine till we went o get our coats and a HUGE fight broke out. cops started rushing in, it got gheto real gheto...
THREE STRIKES... your out!
AWESOME design and music. From a design stand point it's the best bar in the city. There always seems to be an energy everytime I stop in after work. Also, when Samantha Ronson plays - watch out. It gets crazy!
Hotel Sax's lobby lounge nails a neo-Victorian look..
In Short
The hotel's pristine white lobby gives way to a much darker space, the spacious lounge, featuring walnut floors, paneled and textured walls, blood-red rugs, puckered sateen perches and floor-to-ceiling glass panels emblazoned with Victorian markings. Generous high boys near the bar seat five, but most opt for loungier options peppered throughout. Hotel guests mingle over souped-up cocktails, like the luxury mojito that adds a splash of champagne to the already potent mix.
Great after work spot.
Moroccan-inspired surroundings, lush fare and live music attract downtowners to this Bar
If you're looking for a change of pace and something to do after work...the Kaz Bar is the place to be.
I also recommend this to any out of towners looking to get a feel for the night life in Chgo
