Pretentious Waste of Time.
Ironically enough, before going to NV for the first time, I read the reviews on here, many of which said what I am about to say, it was a waste of time. There are too many details to elaborate on but here are the main reasons I will not be returning; 1) The party I was with paid over $500 for bottle service but was not allowed to sit in VIP because it was overbooked. 2) The staff was EXTREMELY rude, took my drink before even finishing it, also there was a "bouncer" whom I didn't get his name (a tall, overweight, white guy who loves to act as if he is an "authority" figure, please) who was if lack of a better term a bully. 3) The place was too small, not allowed to even see the outside patio. 4) The music was somewhat lame 5) The gogo dancers though attractive added to the cheap effect of the place. 6) As an attractive, educated woman I felt extremely out of place, and actually disrespected the entire evening.
Please don't go to this place... I have never gone out of my way to write a review but had I listened to the reviews I read this evening before visiting, I would have saved a lot of time, money, and energy!!
Hip patrons clamor to the eighth floor condo-look-alike lounge of this mod River North building..
In Short
The line outside marks the location; the music and party din tempts from eight stories up. After IDs are checked (twice), guests take a short elevator ride up to a mirrored foyer. A smallish bar features giant pony skin-trimmed mirrors and lurid green lighting. The cream colored walls are punctuated by a black scroll motif, and shiny black chandeliers through dim light. VIP groups enjoy balcony seating with velvet banquets and cabana-like nooks.
