RA Sushi Bar Restaurant

where do you find these people. foods ok, not worth the price. And the staff are a whole other story. The girls who seat you looks like sluts and are about as rude as they come, every time. You don't own the place so stop acting like such a snob. Oh and is it a requirement for waiters to be stoned before coming to work?…

NOT WORTH THE MONEY. I was excited to go to RA for sushi tonight. My boyfriend and I have had opposite schedules the last few days and we were looking forward to seeing each other and eating our all time favorite meal--- SUSHI. We are avid sushi lovers and have been to quite a few sushi restaurants. I had heard RA was expensive, so we went right after work to catch their Happy Hour Menu. Let me tell you, THANK GOODNESS THE SUSHI WE ORDERED WAS 1/2 PRICE because it was AWFUL! RA is trying to be too trendy and we did not even think the sushi was all that fresh. Even at half price, our dinner was still $45 and we did not have any drinks.. Our waitress was very young, seemed immature. She was "missing in action" for awhile and it was not even that crowded. I think the hype about RA is overexaggerated and I think that going to RA is more of an image thing than about eating good sushi. I would never go back to RA, nor would I recommend it to my friends. There are many awesome sushi restaurants in Chicago that are way better!…

Just Average. I am a sushi lover, my husband and I will go out for sushi once a week. Wish we could have it even more but it gets expensive after awhile. Anyway, with that said.... I work in the Lombard area and was taking a client out for lunch, she is a sushi lover as well and recommended we go to RA. I had never even heard of this place and was excited to try a new sushi place! First impression was mixed for me. The staff was nice enough but very young! They were playing dance music and I saw some of the waitresses, who apparently had nothing to do, dancing. laughing and pushing each other? Very strange. The look of the restaurant was very nice and contemporary, Moving on to the food. We ordered 4 total rolls. All were just okay. I'm not saying the food was horrible but it just didn't seem as fresh as what I am used too. I would describe this place as a chain sushi house. So the quality of the sushi just wasn't there. This is probably the last place I would choose to go have sushi at in the area. Just not up to par.…
