“THIS PLACE SUCKS on customer service !”
Nice place to take a date. I've been here a few times on dates and I'd say it's a nice place to take a date to. The atmosphere is kinda lounge-style for the bowling section. I think it caters toward the younger crowd and not so much to the serious bowler or pool player. I've had good service while playing pool...the waitress checked up on us frequently. However, when bowling, I've had the experience when the waitress never followed up at all and it wasn't really busy. I did not eat the food here so I can't comment on the quality or price. Overall, I think it's a nice place and I will continue coming here on occasion.
Don't go here with your family!. First of all, it is obscenely expensive. Are they aware of the current economy? It should not cost $60 for four people to bowl for 1 hr. Secondly, the food is equally overpriced and low quality. Third, the place is starting to become a dump. Fourth, the staff is not friendly at all. Lastly, people screaming obscenities at 11am in front of your 5 and 3 year old children is just ridiculous. I will not be back and would suggest you find a neighborhood bowling alley that will appreciate your business, treat you with respect and not break your bank.
fun night out. Went here with some friends I was visiting, and we had a great time. I love the idea of the lounge, bar, bowling alley hybrid. The drinks were really good, at a totally reasonable price. I'd definitely recommend checking it out!
WORST SERVICE EVER.
This place has the worst service EVER !!!!!
First of all we our waitress never came to check on us, charged us for top shelf vodka when we said well and she was like oh well i was trained that way so what your trained to be an idiot and to overcharge your customers.
Who ever the managers are at this place need to re evalute what they think customer service IS.
Me and 6 friends had dinner before we bowled and again the service was awful from our waitress and the place was dead so i wanna know what she was doing oh wait i know she was in the corner talking on her cell phone. Im a server and i didnt even want to leave her a tip hell she should of tipped us for cleaning our own table (is there busboys) and having to get up to get ketchup, napkins from other tables.
Then we go up to bowl and again get a new waitress and oh yeah she got 1 drink for the 6 of us when we were up there for a good hour and Half. i think there were like 20 lanes and all together 5 were being used so again NOT BUSY yet she couldnt find time to get us drinks so we had to go down to the bar to get our own drinks
THIS PLACE SUCKS on Customer Service !
Best of Chi!!!!!. Luck Strike Lanes just won for most comfortable bowling shoes in Chicago! Check out what else won for best of Chi-Town with 1035 Kiss Fm!
Not accommodating to group unless book a food package.
In today's economy I will never understand a business that does not encourage the use of their establishment. I have a party of 17 peope but yet I cannot reserve lanes without booking a food package. I have to take my chance a week prior. Isn't shoes, bowling and drinking enough to make money for 17 people? Not allowing me to make a reservation will discourage me from using Lucky Strikes for any future outings. I'd understand if you required a deposit for reservation.
Also, I wanted to reserve the restaurant and could not do that either without purchasing a food package. So we are going elsewhere for food, which I am sure the tab will be quite a bit for 17 people.
Best Bowling Atmosphere. This bowling alley/lounge is a great place to have fun and enjoy quality time with family and friends. It's a new and mondern way to enjoy bowling and other fun & games. The food is good, but still a little exspensive. I would strongly recommend eating dinner before-hand. The customer service, however, is Terrible! Over the phone as well as in person, these employees obviouly know nothing about being professional and curtious to paying customers.
Worst waitress EVER!!!!!. Great food, awesome atmosphere. HORRIBLE service. By far, the worst waitress I have ever had. Snotty, rude, extremely unatentive. Even after bringing it to her managers attention she stilled totally slacked and when she did come to the table her attitude was terrible. I don't know how any restaurant/bar could possibly keep somone on their staff who lacked any type of good customer service skills. She almost ruined the entire experience.
Hollywood's souped-up version of a bowling alley strikes the western suburbs..
One of the largest in the Lucky family, this 28,000-square-foot bowling lounge is just as tricked out as its siblings with 12 plasma screens, 12 projectors, three billiards tables and 18 bowling lanes equipped with lounge seating and an automatic scoring system. A multimedia experience is the focus; video screens at the end of each lane continuously feed videos, film clips, sports games while diners munch upscale bites and groove to DJ-driven beats.
