Avoid this place, horrible service.
Went there for dinner, I do not get out much and had had a good experience there before so I took my wife for a nice dinner on there patio. After 15 minutes sitting at our table I went up to the bar to order a drink because our waiter dropped off water and bread and did not even give us a chance to order drinks. The bartender kept telling me she would get to me but after another 5 minutes my wife came and got me and we decided to leave. On the way out we asked for the manager who was just hanging out in front and he said sorry without even attempting to help us. I will never go to this restaurant again and I recommend going up the road to Natalinos on Chicago where we wound up going and getting great service and great food. I don't know how a place like Via Carducci La Sorella can stay in business with such a lousy staff.

Amazing Italian.
I've been here twice, and ordered take out once. All experiences were awesome. I haven't had such good Italian since I was in Italy!

A sister to Via Carducci in Lincoln Park, this Wicker Park sib offers a similar lineup of pizzas, pastas and regional Italian entrees..
In Short
Pristine and inviting are two words that describe Giovanni and Jennifer Scalzo's two-floor venture, which lures a hip Wicker Park crowd. Located in a former coffeehouse, the updated space features exposed brick walls topped with vintage black and white photography of the owners' family, cherrywood floors and a wood bar accented by terracotta tiles and copper details. Brick oven-fired pizzas, fettuccine and gnocchi, panini, chicken Vesuvio and veal limone round out the offerings.
