In Short – Despite its limited menu, this traditional Korean eatery features the classic bi bim bop dish that can be served simply with rice and veggies or dressed up with sirloin, chicken or shrimp. This tradition extends to the decor that includes hanging calligraphy scrolls and thatched globe lanterns above linen-covered tables. Exposed brick walls and a burgundy-and-gold color scheme lend urban elegance. On nicer evenings, locals dine on the rear patio.
Great BYO
by bsebasti
Neither one of us too familiar with Korean cuisine but our waiter helped us through the menu without hesitation. Spicy pork Bi Bim Bop and the house Kimchi were highlights. We also had the whole crispy bass with vegetables- perfectly cooked and not overseasoned. Waitstaff was very friendly and unpretentious. They also had a quiet outdoor dining area- but only 2 tables so you may want to call ahead for one of these. This is a great addition to the neighborhood!
- Pros: BYOB, outdoor seating, service, price
