Deceptive pricing, Unpleased with service. Walking into Haiku Spa is nothing special, its above a car wash with some simple Asian decorating. I had to pay upfront $95 for an hour before the massage which I thought was odd. There was no lounge, lockers, shower. They just put you in a room and have you hang your clothes up on hangars on the door. The massage itself wasn't that bad but what took place afterwords is why I will never go back again. As I leave the room the person who gave the massage approached me and asked if I had already paid. I said yes and then she said something along the lines of "Tip". I thought this was kind of brash, asking for a tip, but I got out my wallet anyways. I only had bills in increments of 20 so I asked if she had change. She said yes and she got out her handbag. I hand her the $20 and ask for $10 back and she had the audacity to tell me "Oh, its $20 for an hour, $10 for half an hour". Since when was it REQUIRED I tip and to a SET AMOUNT? If they wanted $20 out of me why didn't they just change $115 for an hour massage? The whole ordeal just rubbed me the wrong way and they won't be seeing my business anytime soon.
