Me and my friends came here couple weeks ago on a Friday and went back Saturday !!! Had a lot of fun and they even gave us a table with champagne.. the staff there was really nice. I would for sure tell someone to go there!
:)
Absolute Worst Club in Chicago. I went to BonV last Saturday night and had one of the worst expierences of my life! I rsvped on their website about 2 days prior for their event. The point of RSVPing according to the website was to have free cover before 11pm. We got there at about 10pm hoping to have a good time and celebrate my friends birthday. When we got there we proceeded to wait in line for about 20min before the bouncers paid any attention to us. They wouldnt even come up to us to check our IDs!! They were letting in random groups of girls in front of us without checking IDs! They finally checked our IDs and said that we werent on any of their lists that they had! and then would walk away. We said "fine we'll pay cover" and they said "no guest list only". We were incredibly frustrated at this point. My friends were already inside and they had no problem at the door and paid no cover! and they arrived about 5-10min before us! My friends boyfriend came outside to see what the deal was and talked to the bouncer. He then checked the Bouncers clipboard and found my name on the list (the same list he claimed my name wasnt on)!!!!!!!! The bouncer proceeded to tell me ok fine $20 cover! We were so frustrated at this point, that we just left. We went to Mannequin down the street and had a great time. AVOID THIS PLACE!! A lot of people have commented that its been going down hill for awhile now... The bouncers are on a power trip and downright rude and treat the patrons like second class citizens. There are a ton of other great clubs/lounges to go to in the city where the employees actually are happy to have people there.
Favorite new club!!!. Where do I start....My girls and I love this place! The staff rocks not only are they all hot everyone's super nice too! The drinks are great, they have a martini supporting breast cancer that you get a "support" bracelet with and the drink is delicious! The valet put Vitamin Water in our car which was awesome for our drive to our next destination. It did take us a little while to get our coats from coat check but if you went up a little earlier you could easily avoid that. So I guess the name is french for "good life" from what some review I read said, so all I gotta say is "wewe" to Bon V! Cheers!
Bi-level super-lounge fits right in on the tail end of the Randolph entertainment strip..
In Short
A pavement swathed in red carpet greets guests alighting from cabs and sleek black sedans. A large main bar dominates the first floor, along with a soaring video screen flickering with party images. Bottle-service patrons pack surrounding banquettes, while upstairs, a ring of bars and catwalk-like passages provide vantage points of the action below. The otherwise industrial space jumps frantically from puckered red vinyl to chandeliers to African masks.
