best hair removal in chicago!. This is one of the safest, cleanest places to get a wax. I highly recommend Nina for waxing, facials and electrolosis. Im a germaphobe and I never worry with Nina. Her hair removal process is clean and there is minimal pain. Her facials are worth every penny-your skin will glow.

She definitely knows her stuff and i recommend her.

Great Skincare Services!. I have been seeing Nina for over ten years now for various services including, facials, microdermabrasion and electrolysis. As a result of investing in routine facials and micros with Nina, my daily skin-care regimen is minimal and inexpensive, I no longer take medications to keep blemish-free and people often comment on how clear and wrinkle – free my skin looks. It is very important to have a very experienced esthetician perform electrolysis and to this end, Nina is not only very experienced, but she has kept on top of the latest techniques and guidelines. I see Nina approximately every two months and her schedule is always flexible and her prices are very affordable. I have had a few facials and micros done elsewhere and have been completely unsatisfied as Nina has set a high bar. I highly, highly recommend Nina’s services.

Great place for electrolysis!. This is a personal testimonial for electrolysis. I have known Nina for almost 2 years now and have been going to her for electrolysis of my eyebrows. She uses a blend method combining heat and direct current to attack the hair follicle. It's extremely effective and you'll notice going to fewer sessions as time goes on. She is attentive to detail in that she will shape the brow once hair follicles begin to dissapear. Additionally, she is accomodating to personal schedules and is very quick to respond to emails/phone calls/texts for scheduling. Lastly, her prices are affordable and she's always got great deals and discounts throughout the year. I highly recommend Nina at Blush Spa if you're looking for permanent hair removal!

avoid the brazilians here. I went because i had a coupon - it was NOT worth the savings. Unless you want to wait a really long time to then be rushed into a messy spa room - and then burned with the wax. Its months later and I still have a small scar. She was terrible and I don't recommend going to this place.

Great Service, Friendly Staff, Cute things to buy!. Blush is easy to get to and street parking is easy to find. Nina is extremely friendly and supportive. The prices are reasonable and appointments start on time -- amazing! It's a calming salon that also has really cute undergarments and accessories. I'm a big fan ... give them a try!

Do not waste your money!. This place was horrible...when I called the first time to schedule an appointment, the girl who answered the phone, told me to call back because she was busy. I should have known then how it would turn out. I finally got the appointment, went for my APPARENTLY 60 minute massage, and was only given a massage that lasted barely 40 minutes. The girl who gave the massage kept stopping to pop her wrists while she was doing the massage and when she was finished, just told me to get dressed and that I was done. I paid and no one, not even the girl who gave me the massage thanked me for coming in. I left very disappointed and wished I had not wasted my time nor money.

Worst customer service ever!. Good luck getting an appointment anyway... they rarely answer the phone. I have been to Blush on a couple of other occasions and have never had a pleasant experience. The staff is rude and so unprofessional. I have even heard complaints from employees on how the owner manages the business so poorly. I booked a 60 minute massage and received only 40 minutes. The massage was horrible! I was so disappointed that I was shorted 20 minutes I called to talk to the owner, she said there was a misprint with the special and it wasn't her fault. She wasn't willing to do anything about it and didn't seem to care that she would lose customers over it. I would highly suggest steering clear of this place!

Rude service. I went to blush recently and had very rude service. It all started when I got there. I asked to use the bathroom since I had some time to wait. The owner seemed put out to tell me where it was and I got a very unfriendly vibe from her coming and going. My service started thirty minutes late. Apparently, the walk-ins were more important. When we finally got started with my pedicure the lady that had been getting a manicure messed up her nail, so the lady doing my pedicure got up to fix her nail. This wouldn't have been a big deal, if we hadn't gotten started late. My service was interrupted again because this women went to use the restroom and messed up her nail for the second time. Then the manicurist sped through my mani/pedi. Apparently the other customer was more important.

I went on a promotion and I can't help but to wonder if this is why my service was so poor. I certainly wasn't treated like a regular customer. If I would have received better service I may have become a regular customer.

I just so happened to be out with a girlfriend last night and mentioned the situation. She asked me where this had happened and when I told her, she had a worse story to share about the place. She too was there through a promotion.

Maybe this place shouldn't participate in promotions if this is how they plan on treating their customers.

A small entry room of natural wood floors leads to three rooms where hair removal options include European hard wax and electrolysis. The business claims to have almost any mask desired available for your skin, along with Thai, Swedish, deep tissue or point massage.

Terribly Rude Service. I didn't even book a service because the woman who answered the phone was so curt and rude, she turned me off when she hung up on me. Must be nice to have enough customers you feel you can be short and impatient with potential new clients. Let's hope it's not because the inquiry was about a special promotion because I've become a regular customer at many places through trying out promotions. There are plenty of other spas in this city where they are polite from the appointment booking all the way through to the end payment. I'm rather disgusted.
