SCAM and CON ARTIST.
I received a letter from this "collection" agency and did some research after speaking with them on the phone. John T. Sullivan is not a registered attorney in the state of Illinois.
The information that was given to me over the phone was totally incorrect and not to mention the threats he was making were illegal. I guess the "paralegal" didn't realize that he was speaking with a real paralegal over the phone.
I have contacted our state Attorney General and the B B B and as well as the Illinois Attorney General. I am going to take this letter to the attorney that I work for and start legal actions against PN Financial as well.
Rude and Abusive. I am not even a customer of this business, but was treated so rude and threatened. I answered the phone and was told to get a certain employee on the phone. I explained that we can only take messages for an emergency. I was told by Peter W. that if I did not go get the employee someone was going to jail. He started screaming on the phone, cursing me and wanted to speak to my boss. I told him the policy again about calling the HR line for personal or business matters. He kept yelling louder and wanted to speak with my manager. He finally took the number and hung up. I told the employee, they called and there was no emergency - no one was going to jail they just wanted another payment that was already made. I called P.N Financial back and explained we could not take those types of calls and asked for an apology from their employee named Peter. I was told that this individual would apologize right away. I was put on a speaker phone and then told by someone that Peter had to go into a meeting - did he apologize. I said no and nothing happened. No apology - I ws told they would deal with it. Which means that nothing will happend and this business can keep abusing innocent people. All I did was my job - answering the HR line!! No one needs to be yelled at, cursed at or threatened. I will continue to let everyone know about this company. People beware of a company like this - abusive is a behavior that we don't need.
Major Fraud. Unfortunetly my husbad paid them the first initial payment of $300 they wanted before I was able to do research on the compay. But what really struck a chord with me was when my husband paid the $300 he was told he only needed to pay $218 by the end of next month and it was setteled. But the next month some guy name Tony Rich called and said he owed $300.(Once again calling all around the family to try and get his info) my thoughts were shouldn't they have his info on file? and wasn't a guy named John Sullivan handling his case? With research I have found out it's all the same guy...so we are filing a police report and told family members to ignore his calls.
