If you like crepes, or think you might? Give Crepe Bristro a try. I'm not going to say that these are the best crepes ever, or even that I am educated enough to make such a statement but I can tell you that this place has good crepes. There is a nice selection of sweet and savory and also a choose of white or wheat flour. I personally enjoyed the Ham & Swiss w/ wheat flour and split a banana & Nutella crepe. Pretty yummy.
Truly a unique little restaurant.
I first stumbled upon Crepe Bistro while I was visiting a friend at Northwestern University (one of their other locations).
I quickly learned that this was truly a unique little restaurant.
The food was prepared quickly and was very good.
I did not realize that some of most interesting combinations could taste so good!
My favorite is the chocolate crepe....delicious!
When we were told that there was a location in the city - closer to where I attend school - my friends and I made sure to make it a routine stop for lunch!
I highly recommend this place!
Thank you for the compliment. We hope to see you and your friends at our restaurant again.
Crepe Bistro
Editorial Review. Chicago residents love the authentic French crepes, freshly-baked croissants, and authentic Belgian waffles at this charming bistro.
unique european casual ambience. This place is a true gourmet bistro! I did not expect to find myself in a restaurant that nice once I entered Crepe Bistro. Great creative selection and quick fresh preparation at surprisingly affordable prices. If I eat out, I generally look no further. It's small and family owned with friendly customer service. Inviting and relaxing, yet hip and urban, the place is what one expects it to be.
Thank you for your review.
We are happy to announce that the construction wall that was taking parking spaces in front of the store is down. Parking, especially for dinner hours, became much easier. We'll be glad to see you again.
Slightly addicted to this place. I have been to Crepe Bistro at least a half dozen times since they opened. It's tasty, quick and affordable. I'm slightly addicted to Ze Ham Classic (Ham & Cheese Crepe) My co-workers and I like going their for lunch. One of my co-worker claims the Coq Au Vin is incredible. (what is that? According to the menu it's Chicken and Mushroom crepe covered in a homemade white wine mornay sauce w/choice of cheese) I'm also a fan of their croissants.
