Great Staff

This review is way overdue: I had my wedding services all done at this salon in May. Everything was perfect! Ashton is so funny and awesome, he did my highlights and gave me a gorgeous "sun goddess" look. He also definitely listened when I told him that I wanted something beautiful but not something that I would have to maintain to grow it out. Brad did my makeup and was so friendly and kind the whole time, distracting me from how much I wanted to hurl! Everyone said that my makeup was flawless and I was so happy with it. I don't wear much makeup that often, but I never felt too heavy or "made up"; he definitely made me still feel like I was just my own beautiful self!

Amelia did my updo and made the look complete: she made this beautiful braid around my head and curls in the back. My hair was seriously amazing. She also would tell me really fun stories about other weddings she's done to keep me entertained! I was so grateful that these people made everything so easy and simple and have such positive energy.

Last, I have been now going to Stacy for my last three haircuts and am so loyal to her. She is so fun to hang around and makes my hair amazing every time. I really love the fact that she really listens to what I want and seems to genuinely think about the best way to go about it. My biggest pet peeve with stylists is when it doesn't seem like they're really listening or thinking about what they're doing, and Stacy is the complete opposite of this (as is everyone else there)! I highly recommend this fun, professional salon.

Great Amazing Experience

This salon was a recommendation from a nearby one. So, I was just a walk-in. I found this salon absolutely wonderful from the moment I walked in the door to the moment I walked out of the door.

I was greeted by two very friendly staffers named Brad and Sammy. Both very sweet and accommodating.

I was told that one of their stylists, Nina, would be able to take me in 20 minutes. I didn't find that time to be unreasonable. As it was, she took me in 10. That was a plus, in my book. Sat in Nina's chair, she was a wonderful haircutter. The scalp massage before the hair washing was very relaxing. The haircut was excellent. Might have been just as good as one of those expensive haircuts in the downtown salons. The price was very reasonable, too.

I met a couple of the hair colorists at the salon. Their names are Ashton and Jeff. Very nice guys. Wish I needed color, because the experience I had during the cut can only mean that these two guys would be excellent at their craft, too. I do not think this salon would hire anything less than superior.

Although this salon isn't really close to where I live, I will be a return client. That's a given.

So, many thanks to Blueberry Moon's staff. You all are wonderful.

This is the best facial in the city... hands down!

Last year I went with the editors choice and was really unhappy with my facial. This year, I went with the audience choice and I can see why Blueberry Moon won best facial. I had an amazing facial with Tessa... she was so gentle and relaxing I almost fell asleep. The spa is small and beautiful and the staff was so friendly! I was really surprised at how extreamly happy I was with everything. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeting with smiles and everyone there really seemed to be nice.. not like fake, but really nice. The spa was clean and cozy, the sheets are amazing(so soft, the felt like silk). Everything was great! Oh, and I highly recommend you try the Blueberry coffee... it is like drinking a blueberry muffin... soooooo good!

• Pros: Robes!! I loved them and all Aveda Products!
• Cons: Parking... but hey.. its Lincoln Park... just leave early!

I loved my pedicure!!!

Ive been looking around for a nice, clean spa to get my pedi's done and so I surfed Citysearch and found Blueberry Moon. I loved the name and the website was cool and helpful. I made my appt and Kristy was sooo cool. The foot baths are fun they light up, I love the color and look of the salon, very nice staff and the Aveda tea is soooo good :) The receptionists were very nice, and they stylists were friendly. I would definitely recommend them and I will be returning for more pampering :))

• Pros: great staff, clean, very relaxing,
• Cons: lack of parking... but its Halsted St. so its kind of expected

Best Salon Spa I have EVER been to!

I LOVED my Salon and Spa services that I recived at Blueberry Moon. I have been to sooo many spas but this one takes the cake. Their staff was so friendly and everyone was very talented. Every service I recived was honestly the best I have ever had. I don't think I could go anywhere else from now on. The decore of the Blueberry Moon was so charming, and one of a kind. I would totally recomend Blueberry Moon to anyone who wants an AMAZING salon and spa experience!
