Best Restaurant in the Gold Coast. Wow - I cannot reccomend this restaurant any higher. You must go! The menu is small but ecclectic and really presents a new way to dine and share plates with friends. Although a little pricey the cocktails are unlike any others in Chicago. The thing that puts this place leaps and bounds above places like Violet Hour are the fact that the menu is truly representitive of fine dining and they have these amazing bar carts that make the cocktail of your choice right at your table. They are open late, too, which is a great plus if you live in the Gold Coast and are tired of the same old places for late night munchies. I love this place!

Gold Coast gastro-lounge packs its tables and dance floor with pretty people well into the late hours.. The folks behind Three Headed Productions bought this iconic Gold Coast haunt, morphing the former Yow Bar into a lounge with modular seating, zebrawood walls and sleek, white-washed tables. A luxe small plates menu, designed by James Beard-winning chef Shawn McClain, turns classics like a French dip on end. Pre-Prohibition-era libations and mixologist-crafted concoctions--including "The Nooner" with bourbon black vanilla-infused Nivan, fresh ginger, orange bitters and maple syrup--fuel the fun.
