rip-off place

I would never recommend this place to anyone. Their prices are outrageous. You pay more here than going to a reputable, nationally known cosmetic surgeon. They inflate the prices then tell you that they can offer a 50% discount, only valid for "today." Even their 50% discount prices are outrageous. The consultant only wants you to buy into as many packages- all they are concerned about is selling to you and to try and squeeze as much money out of you as possible. This place is only for the gullible who fall right into their "trap" paying prices that are 75% higher than other, more reputable places.

The ignorant consultant became very defensive when I asked very pointed questions about the procedures, the cost involved and the qualifications of the staff. To me, if you are defensive, you are trying to hide something.

Condescending & High Priced

I will never go back to this place nor would I suggest it to anyone. It has a great location by Woodfield Mall, but otherwise they are condescedning and only care about selling as much as possible to you. They will tell you about the same story for every service: that you have to buy several appointments and go as much as possible to get any kind of results. And of course if you don't spend ungodly amounts of money going multiple times an very often, then the lack of results is not THEIR fault, it's YOURS.

The aesthiticians are nice and professional, but you have to get passed the bulldog saleswomen they have first. Overall, it does not make for a very friendly and comfortable place.

careless service, high prices

I went in for a consultation for laser hair removal. Although I had specifically asked to meet with a professional who performs the treatments, I instead spoke to a "consultant", i.e. full-time sales-person. She used typical high-pressure sales tactics and promised quick results which I know to be unrealistic for this type of treatment. When I asked how much training the technicians had, she told me in a very condescending way that they all knew what they were doing and that all the customers were satisfied with the results. She finally offered that everyone who works there has at least 5 years of experience, and that the laser technicians are trained aestheticians. In my book, that can mean anything.

So I was suspicious, but since I have a busy schedule, I didn't want to wait to start my treatments. I decided to get the first one here (paying for only one, not the full package) and then look for a better place to do the rest. At worst, I thought my first treatment would be overpriced compared to the rest.

The technician who did the treatment did not look -- or act -- old enough to have 5 years of experience, but I could be wrong about that. She hurried through it like she was late for an Avril Lavigne concert. I am convinced she missed some areas. Her attitude was very careless and she treated me like a nuisance. I am definitely not going back, and am skeptical about seeing any results.
