Different for the area. I have not had anything this authentic south american on the north side. Everything is homemade from family recipes. The staff is so sweet and family run. I love just grabbing a mix of them to bring home for the roomies. Empanadas are so yummy and different from the generic food on Clark.

This small, tidy eatery specializes in fried savory and sweet empanadas, which are showcases on a handwritten chalkboard menu. Choices are limited to about half a dozen and include beef with olives, raisin, potato and onion; slow-cooked barbecue pork; a Hawaiian version with ham, mozzarella and pineapple; and spinach, mozzarella and onion. For dessert, there's a chocolate-banana version.
