So Awesome!.
We used our Amex Platinum to get us an upgraded room and credit at the spa and had an amazing time here. My husband had been staying here for business and insisted that I fly out to join him because the suite was so amazing...great views, great staff and the spa was really lovely. The location is great and central to lots of good restaurants (try the Girl and the Goat), nearby to the diamond district (Mon Ami Jewelers!) and great shopping. We will definitely stay again!

Not impressed.
Went on a tour of the hotel when looking for a place to book our wedding. NOT impressed.
1. Lobby is smaller than my condo's lobby. How is that possible for a 5 star luxe hotel??
2. Ballroom has a HUGE pillar in the middle... does not make sense.
3. Wallpaper in ballroom and hallways are showing signs of pealing away. Listen, this is a new hotel... what kind of shoddy work was employed in constructing it?
4. Not the best customer service. No one follows up, hard to get a hold of certain service individuals.
5. Valet subpar. Not what I expect from a 5 star chain.
Rooms are TINY. Save your money and go to the Pen.

Sets the bar for outstanding customer service.
From the moment I stepped onto the Trump property I knew my experience was going to be special. The bell man delivered a wonderful first impression, followed up by curtious front desk staff, who despite my early arrival were able to find me a room so I could relax before my busy weekend began. The room was spacious and equipped with everything a weary traveller would need (i.e. comfortable bed, slippers, big TV and lots of water). In addition to the wonderful room, the hotel has a fantastic spa with unique treatments. I highly recommed the Royal Lular. The smell of turmeric may make you think of Indian food, but your skin will be softer then a baby's bottom when you are done. The Trump Hotel has everything you need during your stay in Chicago, unless you want to watch a sporting event outside your own room - then you have to find a local pub or restaurant (and there are plenty within walking distance). The Concierge gave me several choices and I was not disappointed with my selection. I can't say enough about the Trump Hotel -- it is definitely my go to hotel for all my Chicago visits.

Amazing place.
It was good - no Trump sightings though. I would love to see him and that ridiculous haircut strolling around the lobby and telling people about the most amazing hotel in the world.

Luxurious hotel with residential condominiums treats guests to a world-class health club, spa and breathtaking river views..
In Short
Like its New York sibling overlooking Central Park, this gleaming addition to the Chicago skyline boasts 339 rooms and over-the-top amenities expected by its corporate clientele. The hotel only occupies floors 14-27 of the 92-story tower, luring power brokers accustomed to white-glove service, 500-thread count linens, Sub-Zero refrigerators and Miele cooktops. For that added touch, an attache attends to all details during guests' visits keeping a log of personal faves for future requests.
