The food is generally very good; however, there are issues with consistency because on occasion it is not as good as usual. When they moved to Walton, I began to order via delivery, which is usually ok but occasionally takes an inordinate amount of time. Tonight, I ordered dinner at 7:00 and by 9:00 my food had still not arrived, which is totally ridiculous as I live 5 blocks away (and what restaurant hires a driver who doesn't have some sort of nav system?) Bottom line: Good Indian food if you catch them on a good night. Don't order delivery as your food may not show up for a couple hours. Definitely don't order if you're hungry because you may end up starving and writing a bad review online when your food doesn't show up.
Excellent in Everythng.
Be it customer service, behavior, food or ambiance, these guys topped in everything. The food and environment both were very homely. The food was neither too spicy nor too mild. We went for the lunch buffet and very immensely pleased with everything. There was lot of stuff to be eaten, each better than the other one. The price is also really adequate for a downtown restaurant serving such wonderful Indian food.
I would recommend you all to give it a try - its worth trying. I would surely go there if I visit Chicago again.
BEST INDIAN FOOD IN TOWN. This place is really great. It looks fantastic, very classy with great attention to detail, like wallnut panels, matching booths . I was with a large party and we sampled a wide variety of menu items. Everyone loved everything, including the drinks and desserts.....great presentation. If you go, you MUST have a Orange kulfi for dessert! Highly recommended!!!
