“Beautiful decor inside as well.”
“When they first opened, we dined here twice and both time found a great wine list with healthy pours and good food.”
“had the new artichoke tortellis, absolutely delicious and refreshing.”
“However, the menu does not have the variety, seems a bit over priced and the service was not as good.”
“Great food, excellent attentive service, and very friendly owners!”
“We were more impressed when the restaurant first opened particularly that they scaled back on their wines by the glass which are very pricey and amount to just a taste - not a glass.”

Not sure if I'm more crazy about the gorgeous outdoor seating or house-made pastas (which all come in appetizer portions so you can dabble).
great dishes. mixing the finest ingredients into creamy soups, housemade pastas and meaty, country-style dishes like Porchetta alla Romana, a suckling pig marinated for three days.
How could you not love this place?. I don't know how anyone could have anything bad to say about this place. The staff is wonderful. Always friendly and attentive as well as knowledgable. The food is amazing. I can be pretty pricey but I believe that it is well worth it. Beautiful decor inside as well.
A Grand fit. The service was great and the meal was as detail perfect as the interior. This restaurant belongs here on this little stretch of great Italian restaurants. I'll be back.
Absolutely Not!.
In a city which banned state wide non-smoking rules, it was very disturbing to experience 3 guests in the restaurant smoking cigars!!?!! I was with several out of town guests- one of which has a severe allergic asthmatic reaction to smoke. We notified our waiter and the host who both said there was nothing they could do about it.....shocking, since it's illegal in the state of Illinois to allow such a thing. We notified 311 who will forward the complaint to the Illinois Department of Health. Nothing against smokers, but this is ILLEGAL in the city and if one restaurant can allow this, then why not all?
There are many other wonderful restaurants in this city, choose another which really thinks about the guest experience first and foremost.
Wait, Wait, Keep Waiting. We went there last night and all we heard from the time we walked in the door was to "wait". We had a reservation but had to wait for an hour and 20 minutes to get seated. Once seated, it took too long for our wine to arrive. The food was not bad but it wasn't remarkable either. The service can throw the whole meal off!
Below Average Overall. I love dining alfresco but cannot stand flies swarming around! I don't understand why they can't get rid of this problem. There are other places like Chaise Lounge that has outdoor seating and doesn't have this problem. I gave this place two tries. The second time we ate inside and the service was not good and found everything to be overpriced.
As great as ever!. I used to dine at Coco Pazzo quite a bit and when I heard the chef from there had started a new place Ihad to try it out . Glas I did. The space is beautiful and the food is as wonderful as Coco Pazzo, if not better. I had the new artichoke tortellis, absolutely delicious and refreshing. My friend tried the Veal Genovese, so tender... Also it's served with a healthy green bean and potato pesto salad. We both had a wonderful $5.00 glass of wine. It was as fine a lunch as either us remembers having. Great food, excellent attentive service, and very friendly owners! I'll be back
inconsistent. When they first opened, we dined here twice and both time found a great wine list with healthy pours and good food. We sat in the back outdoor area but since winter arrived we hadn't been back since last night since they have very few tables without the backyard dining area. The wine by glass although good quality italian wines is a very weak pour - really it is 1/2 glass and not a full glass - at 18 and some 19 dollar glasses this is outrageous. We were very disappointed. My boyfriend had the osso bucco which was very average and I had the seafood stew where the amount of seafood was much less than "generous" just like the wine. We were more impressed when the restaurant first opened particularly that they scaled back on their wines by the glass which are very pricey and amount to just a taste - not a glass. This came off mu list of favorites
Disappointed. It isn't that hard to make pasta flavorful! Add to this poor service and expensive wines by the glass. The fact that our server smelled of cigarettes was not appetizing at all. We all thought this would be a good restaurant and fairly priced but were overall disappointed.
