DINERS BEWARE. We dined here 2 weeks ago and wish we would have listened to all the poor reviews. The service was incredibly slow and the server was a bit rude. Our order was wrong twice and when we tried complaining to the manager she acted as if we were making it up. The owner did come to our table to apologize but as he turned to the manager made a face and rolled his eyes as if he was bothered also. This place is a complete joke. So many better resturants to choos from...cafe ba ba reba, cafe imberico, twist etc.I can not see this place lasting.
Catalan food, a locally revered chef and affordable eats.. Everyone seems relaxed, whether they're sitting on the flower-bedecked patio, bellied up to the amber-lit bar or chilling out in the cavernous dining room of this two-story tapas restaurant in Old Town. The reason is clear: The menu--courtesy of chef Dudley Nieto--practically begs you to linger over Catalan-style cheese and cured meats, pintxos (bite-sized Basque tapas) and tapas like vegetable escabeche with shiitake mushrooms. Funky touches surprise at every turn. Take the cocktail list, which boasts drinks that are infused with edible, luminous “pearls"--actually caviar-sized spheres made from gelled fruit.
Editorial Review. Chef Dudley Nieto canvases Spain--bringing tapas, pinxtos and sangria--to foodies in Old Town.
