Great cuts, color and manis! Love the staff. I?ve flip flopped between stylists in Chicago for years now but after going to the new Johnathan Breitung Salon & Luxury Spa, I will never go anywhere else. I have gotten cut and color with both Samuel and Patty and I walked away extremely happy each time. I am used to going to a salon and 1. having the stylist cut my hair too short and 2. not getting the exact color I want. This was not the case at all at JB. Their skill and attention to detail blew me away.

While my color was setting I got a manicure in the spa. Gretta was amazing - I thoroughly enjoyed talking to her and walked away with my hands and nails looking and feeling great. I took a tour of the spa and couldn?t believe how huge it was! I can?t wait to try out the Vichy shower room, and while I don?t have children myself I thought the babysitting room was a fabulous idea!

JB is great. It?s a stunning new space and each and every one of the staff is friendly and welcoming while at the same time extremely experienced. I would recommend the salon and spa to anyone looking for a relaxed, friendly environment with impeccable service.

The ONLY place I will get my hair cut!. It's so great to finally have the new salon open up!! I have been going to Michael for almost 15 years, he is the only person in the world I would let touch my hair! Highlights are amazing, the style is always perfect, and I walk out of there feeling beautiful!! For those of you who have gone to Michael or Johnathan for the past few years, you know this salon has been a long time coming...and it is awesome!! I haven't had any of the services yet, but I know they are probably amazing. Great salon, great stylists, best salon in Chicago by far!!

Expert at covering gray!. I have been going to Jonathan for years and his new salon is beautiful! I have hard-to-cover gray hair and Jonathan is so skillful that everyone thinks my hair is my natural color! Even though the salon is several miles from my home, I will still take the time to travel because I love Jonathan's work so much. Best of luck to everyone in the new salon!

Finally found a place where I can have the best quality service from head to toe!!!!. What a place! I have my hair done by Patti and I love it!!! My nails done by Justina and I love it even more!!!

I will be their regular.

The best mani/pedi ever. I had my nails a feet done by Justina and I can not say enough of her. She did a wonderfull job . The massage part was awesome as far as finish. Overall very nice and professional place. I will be back!!!

Fabulous New Johnathan Breitung Salon & Luxury Spa. Johnathan Breitung is the best colorist and stylist ever. I have been going to him for 15 years. When I lived in NYC I went to all the famous salons and no one could replicate the color Johnathan created for me. I can't say enough about him and the new Luxury Spa is amazing. it's your one stop shop for pampering--get a massage and they will babysit you kids. Truly an amazing experience. Parking is a breeze with a city lot in the back that costs 25 cents an hour! its a dream come tru!

Great Salon! Great Service! Great Hair!. I have been seeing Johnathan (and Michael a couple times too) for the last three years and my hair has never looked better. The new salon and spa is beautiful and I look forward to having my spa services there too. If you want an excellent hairstylist try Johnathan or Michael!

Also I wanted to comment on the previous posting - yes you must must must book early! Johnathan books up early (even thought I know he works many hours a week) because he is so fabulous and popular! Also, the girls at the reception desk have always been very polite and friendly to me!

Try this salon and spa! There is a parking lot right behind the salon and babysitting in the spa!

I was disappointed. After reading all these wonderful reviews about Johnathon I tried to book an appointment with him and he was booked solid for the next month!! I could not believe it. I asked for another person who was like him the response given was " nobody is like Jonathon" in a snoody attitude. The girl on the phone was not the most pleasant. I asked to speak to another person and that only made my situation worst. She was of no help. Alas I never was unable to make an appointment.

Platinum Service, Madly Talented, Beautiful & Not Uptight. Jonathan has been the sole person touching my hair for almost 15 years! I now drive more than 3 hours each way, each month, for his specific color & cut. My hair color is a major challenge due to extensive greying (prior to age 30); Jonathan and his Team always leaves me feeling lovely, very special and completely relaxed. The salon is beautiful and claming, always welcoming! Having been to very high end, well known salons in Los Angeles, San Francisco & Boston for special events, Jonathan's exceeds the service and atmosphere completely. Jonathan is madly talented & vastly experienced in color, cut and technique. He is always challenging himself with ever evolving techniques, so I have never been bored or disappointed with my hair. The level of service, physical beauty of the space and fully attentive staff exceed expectations. Do not be intimidated, this salon will become your addiction too!
