Easy to work with. I trust them

My car broke down and needed to be towed so I brought to a subaru dealer. They repaired the belt then suggested I needed 6,000+ in other repairs. I went here based on a friends rec. and Midas identified the same problems. They quoted substationly less on the repairs then worked with me to determine what was essential immediately and what could wait., They were professional courteous and knowledgeable. One of the new tires they put on flattened because of a nail and they fixed it for free immediately. It is UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. I will defiantly return.

professional, honest, knowledgeable, & kind

I am SO impressed with this Midas location (LaSalle & Grand, in Chicago)!! I smelled an strong burning odor from the front of my car, so I called the Perillo dealership where I JUST bought the car 2 months ago, & was told that there's a $159 fee to look at it. Wow. Then I called this Midas location, where the manager invited me to come even right away...They greeted me kindly, checked my car while I waited, explained to me everything they checked, & found practically nothing wrong. I guess it was another car burning. Anyway, they were SO DESCENT & HONEST that they refused any payment for their time & not even a little tip $. So professional! I HIGHLY recommend Midas at 158 W Grand Ave in downtown Chicago.

The guys here were nice

I also ways shop around for a better deal and I seem to come across a good deal here! The guys here were nice, knowledgeable and friendly. Repaired my brakes at a reasonable price, including the turning of the rotors.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!

Wow! Wish I had read reviews before I went to this place.

STAY AWAY...WORST DECISION YOU WILL MAKE FOR YOUR CAR.

Went in for a timing belt and suspension...didn't "time" the belt" didn't align the suspension.

Everything had to be redone by another shop.

They stole parts of my car.

I took the time to write this review because I want to warn people. I have already notified AAA who towed my car there, and are not likely to bring cars there for a while.

I brought my car there to be repaired. After they quoted me an extremely large number, I decided that I would get rid of the car and buy a new one (the repair money was not worth it). I agreed to pay them to hold the car over the weekend so that I could get someone to tow it. When I went to get it, IT WAS ON THE STREET WITH 2 TICKETS ON IT. They had stolen my spare tire, professionally removed parts from the bottom of my car, and left it on the side of the road. The police investigated and I only had to pay part of the tickets, but DO NOT GO HERE.

Please take my advice, these people are not worth it, they are dishonest and rude. I have never been treated so poorly.

• Pros: If you want parts stolen and nightmare service, this is the place to go.
• Cons: Find somewhere else, these people are the worst crooks.
