Awesome Massage!!!!. I recently had a massage at Veria, and it was fantastic. It was one of the best I have ever had! He was very welcoming introducing himself and then explaining what was going to happen in my service. He left the room for me to get ready and came back in checking to make sure I was comfortable and the table was warm enough. (yes that is right, they have heated massage tables.) I was also able to use the songs on my Ipod with there docking stations. So I got to listen to my music the whole time. Next time I'm going to make a play list just for when I'm getting massaged.

Once the massage started I couldn't get enough he kept finding spot I didn't even know were soar. Afterwords, he stepped out to get me fresh water and when I came out of the room he explained a couple stretches for me to help with my own body issues. Finally he invited me to come back and gave me his card. I was Jello the rest of the day!! If you get a chance or want a massage go see Walter at Veria, BEST MASSAGE EVER!

They also have a yoga studio, and cafe down stairs. I recommend the number two smoothy.

Best wellness environment!. So I just booked an appointment as part of the Pretty City special and it was fantastic! Such a great value and I felt even better knowing that the proceeds go to breast cancer research! Though they are a new wellness center & spa, I think they have the right idea ( organic/natural paths to wellness). The staff was warm, inviting, and made me feel extremely comfortable. Make sure you are specific with what you want and ask questions! Everyone seemed to be knowledgable and pretty engaging. Overall, I would reccommend Veria to anyone who is interested in organic, long lasting healthy alternatives.

Snobby service, Misrepresented service, don't waste time with this one!. Wow, what a major disappointment. Booked a facial due to their AMAZING Prettycity $31.00 offer. Am I the only one to recognize this was a scam once in the door? They put it was a $170 offer...hum, NOT. The real offer was a mini facial...I was told it was a 20-25 minute facial. I did not need the eye brow wax either...I did not get a tour, did not think the staff AT ALL polite, was never "scheduled" for the consultation. When I found out it was not the facial they advertised (no extraction, etc), I left. I can go get a full facial in Chicago for around $40-$50....why would I waste my time and $31 for 20 minutes of getting my face slathered with product they are going to try an sell me?! (the main reason I go for facials is the extraction of pores)

I need to remember never to visit spas when they first open. Once the realize there is loads of competition in the city, they usually become nicer to deal with but in the beginning the owners/staff seem to think themselves unique. They missed the boat with me and I am sure a few others out there. Prettycity is a great opportunity (for the spas) to capture new clients (and us to get nice deals but also discover new places and possibly become clients) and I will never go back. Whoever the person was working at the front desk should be fired too...at least she could have tried to win me back instead of being such a snob. That attitude in this economy? Come on.

P.S. I heard two girls complaining to each other about the "$31.00 offer" not being what they thought while I was filling out my paperwork. Now I understand what they were talking about.

Great body treatments and welcoming professional staff!. I happily reccomend the new Veria Spa for its welcoming atmosphere and great body treatments.

I dicovered this place through Pretty City. com and decided to give them a try. I was greeted by the most friendly reception team who gave me a tour and told me about new ayurveda services before my treatment.

I was surprised to find out that this place has a little of everything, an interesting retail area, a juice bar, yoga studio and spa! My body treatment was wonderful. I will definitely be back!

Total and complete natural wellness center!. Veria is an amazing, new wellness center I discovered walking down Halsted in Lincoln Park. I was truly impressed with the variety of services they offer! Yoga, tai chi, bellydance, spa services upstairs, a fresh vegetable and juice bar, and an amazing selection of retail products such as supplements, organic clothing, music, makeup, skin care, etc. The staff was so friendly and accomodating that I will definitely be making a trip back there soon! And for the month of October they are having spa services for only $31!

Spa week, Oct 13-19, select $50 services. Unbelievable!

Yoga schedule?. Live nearby, and have wanted to try out the yoga classes for a while... but they have not made it easy! The website is full of stuff about advertising, "VeriaTV" and buying lots of products they sell, but there is no information or schedule about their yoga classes! Come on, Veria! Any yoga studio knows that providing access to an updated yoga schedule is the first thing that customers are looking for. Hope to see them getting on the ball with this.

Best Yoga,Spa, and Wellness center anywhere!. I am so excited to see the arrival of the new Veria Natural Wellness center in Chicago!

I have visited their other locations when visiting my family in Texas and have had the best experience ever!

These places have everything! From tasty healthy drinks, organic lifestyle products, an amazing spa and a huge yoga studio! For me, the new Chicago lcation on Halsted is a dream come true!

I popped in for a sneek preview the other day on my way home and they made feel totally welcome! They showed me around and invited me to sign their guest book. Their class schedule lists some of the top Yoga teachers in Chicago! I can't wait to try out their Spa!

Veria Wellness is Five Star!. The wellness center is located a few spaces down from the NW corner of N. Halsted and Armitage right in the heart in Lincoln Square. I live right off of rockwell on the brown line and this is super conveniant for me to get to. Along with Spa treatments, and a AWESOME Quench Bar, theres an abundance of great organic retail. On the upper level, theres a fantastic yoga studio along with 4 different treatment rooms for massage therapy and aestetician "magic". I highly recommend this place. Its has such a great atmosphere and its not FRILLY like those other spa's you'll find in the city limits. Great customer service and warm greetings all around. Check it out!
