Loop boutique hotel surprises guests with humor and whimsy.. Playful details abound at this 298-room boutique hotel in the Loop. Case in point: the ambient sounds of crowing roosters (mornings) and chirping crickets (evenings) that permeate the hallways outside guest rooms, prompting many a chuckle. That light-hearted energy doesn't come at the expense of serious luxury, however. Guest rooms, painted with bright pops of color from plush furniture and clever art, boast cloud-like beds, 40-inch flat panel TVs and separate bathtubs and stall showers. Marble and stainless steel kitchenettes up the ante in the 60 suites. Public spaces boast striking design details like the large-scale angel wing chandeliers that anchor the two-story glass lobby.
